We couldn't have made a better choice in using Heirloom Event Company to help us plan our wedding. Our planning timeline was only about 5 months, My husband and I lived in different countries and had to deal with the added stress of immigration visas on top of wedding planning. We wanted a planner who would understand our needs and someone we could trust to listen to our vision for the day and make it happen. Haylie was so easy to work with, always on top of deadlines and keeping us on track in the all stages of planning. She listened to our ideas and dreams and found vendors that suited and fit within budget. She found us an amazing coffee cart vendor after i said coffee would be awesome to have. We dreamed of it being a fairytale/ hobbiton vibes in the music, she found us a music duo who hit the brief perfectly. She helped us surprise each other the morning of and throughout the day. She communicated with vendors, understood the fine print in the contracts and would let us know what our responsibility was. She was so supportive throughout the whole planning stage, any questions we had she answered and even after the wedding, answering questions that only come up after the event has happened. Haylie was intentional, thoughtful and she helped us be at ease leading up to the wedding and day of. With family travelling from outside of the country, she made a simple document we could give to them to have all the info needed so they didn't ask us the day of. Haylie went above and beyond to make our wedding day our dream day and we cant thank her enough.

My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! When people ask us for wedding planning advice, we always say that hiring a planner was the best decision we made - specifically Oso Events! They are truly the best at what they do :) We could not be more grateful to them!

Jaylyn from Weddings by Jay was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very prompt to respond to any questions or concerns we had throughout the wedding planning process. Her communication style was excellent, and she was always available to provide guidance and support. Jaylyn's work was outstanding and she went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. We had a lot of moving parts to our wedding, including a horse-drawn carriage that was two hours late, but Jaylyn kept everything going and was on top of it all. She was even able to keep a surprise for everyone hidden amongst the chaos. Additionally, we had a ton of heavy decor that Jaylyn was super accommodating with and very much on top of. Thanks to Jaylyn's organization and attentiveness, we received many compliments on how smoothly our wedding went, which wouldn't have happened without her.

My daughter and I suspected we’d need assistance in planning a wedding in Brooklyn as I live out of state and she works full time. We were initially introduced to Wilder Minds Events after one of our friends recommended them to us for wedding planning. Aside from deciding on my husband, choosing Wilder Minds event planners was the best decision I made for my wedding. We started working with Delaney and right off the bat I knew we made the right decision—Delaney was attentive and quick to respond to any texts/calls/questions we had, although I didn’t know exactly how right my decision was until much later. About a week before the wedding we were faced with some extremely difficult decisions to make because of hurricane Helene. Our reception venue didn’t have power 24 hrs before the wedding and Delaney stepped up and was ready with several alternative options, providing us with peace of mind and reassurance every step of the way that she would do everything and anything within her power to make this wedding everything we had dreamt of it being. We ended up completely switching venues several hours before the welcome party started, and everything ended up being absolutely beautiful and unforgettable—all thanks to our amazing, kind and caring wedding planner Delaney and the wonderful, dedicated venders she had connected us with. I cannot thank Delaney and the Wilder Minds event planners enough for saving the best day of our lives. My husband and I are both genuinely sad that our time planning with Delaney is over and we will miss hearing from her on a regular basis very much.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Rachel Behar and her team are. I came to Rachel after my first planner ghosted me. I had my venue and caterer booked, both of which Rachel knew well, which was helpful. Rachel's network of quality vendors is impressive. My now husband and I got engaged six months before our wedding date, and at no point did I ever feel that I was settling with a vendor due to lack of options. In addition, she and her team took on a lot of communication with my vendors on my behalf, lightening my load of things I needed to figure out for our wedding. In addition to her amazing resources, Rachel and her team are extremely organized and provided a lot of structure (Google docs, 'one month to do's', etc) in the planning process. She and her team were also always available to answer any questions I had throughout the planning process, and were very helpful with their recommendations on items I needed to source for the wedding (via Etsy, Amazon, etc). There wasn't a question I had that Rachel didn't have an answer for. Sadly, I lost my father to cancer two months before my wedding. Rachel and her team were the first ones to send flowers with their condolences, and Rachel reached out saying she was there for anything I needed- a break from planning, a 'to do' list to work on to serve as a welcomed distraction, anything. Words cannot express how much my family and I appreciated her support during such a trying time. Lastly, Rachel and her team excel at taking on a challenge. In addition to our short timeline to plan, I wanted to have a Persian wedding- with it's own unique ceremony & traditions. Even though she had never planned a Persian wedding before, she and her team rose to the challenge, and she helped source wonderful vendors (even finding a Persian officiant all the was from Paris, France!) for our big day. I can wholeheartedly say that our wedding day was as wonderful as it was because of Rachel Behar Events 3

She had both indoor and outdoor setups ready in case a last-minute change was needed. By the grace of God, it didn’t rain, but Lauren’s calm demeanor and preparedness kept me at ease. Overall, Lauren went above and beyond for us. Emily was amazing! We worked with her for planning, starting from about 15 months before the wedding date, as well as day-of coordinating, and she was an incredible help time after time. Whenever we were stuck trying to figure out vendors or even basic things like the color scheme, Emily was able to help us make progress and stayed really kind and patient throughout, even with what were probably fairly dumb questions at least some of the time. (After all, I don't think either of us ever planned a party for more than a dozen people at a time, so it was invaluable to have help from someone so experienced as Emily!) Emily was great at keeping track of timelines and helped focus us on which decisions needed to be made sooner and what we could leave for later. When we decided to add a tea ceremony as part of the wedding, Emily didn't bat an eye and was so helpful with getting those extra details sorted. There can be so many times while planning a wedding where it’s hard to know how to even approach an important decision, including just communicating w/ guests & family and her expertise, advice, and care kept us from getting stuck more times than we can count! Even though you would expect an event planner to be very rigid in saying how things should go, Emily is not robotic at all and we loved how spontaneous and open to brainstorming different options she always was! The night before and morning of the wedding, we were a bit stressed, but once we were at our venue and Emily was back involved, things went incredibly smoothly and we had a day filled with joy and love. One of Emily's assistants, Alaina, was also there to help w/ day-of details and she was also so nice, calm and capable! Emily even stepped in as an emergency emcee for us when our previous plans fell through 2 weeks before the wedding & our guests loved her humor & warmth during the reception too!

Krysta and her team were an absolute dream to work with! I ended up getting the package where they took over vendor communications 3 months before the wedding and that alone saved us so much stress. Her bubbly personality and on point organization skills helped to make everything leading up to the wedding less stressful. She asked us all the right questions as well as the ones we didn’t know we had to worry about, and had a plan for incorporating the Mexican traditions we wanted to have into the schedule(ie. Dollar dance, La Vibora de la Mar/snake dance song, mariachi). At the beginning of our 3 month meetup, we already had a wedding timeline, the VIP(wedding court) list down, as well as plans for our decor. This was so handy when following up with vendors about timeline and overall plans. There was only a little miscommunication around rehearsal dinner expectations, but we were able to figure out a plan to rehearse with our bridal party the day of the wedding. Come wedding day, I was blown away by the work her and her team did to set up our reception area - from hanging the papel picado, to the pinata in the center, to setting all the dinner and dessert tables - I was in tears seeing it all come together. Her and her team also ran the wedding so smoothly and handled any little hiccups with grace. I cannot emphasize enough how hard her and her team worked to make sure my husband and I enjoyed ourselves the entire time. I cannot stress how important it is to hire the right coordinator to ensure your wedding runs smoothly! Please hire Krysta and her team - you definitely won’t regret it!

How much does a wedding planner cost?

What do wedding planners do?
