Matt spent 24 years in the service industry, catering weddings and galas under master-chefs at 5 star venues throughout the country. In 2013 they asked long-time friend Kayla to help them at a wedding, and by the time the reception ended she realized she absolutely loved it. She is now a co-owner.

While planning events for friends, family and within her activist community as a side hustle for over a decade, Kris has also been a nonprofit event coordinator, farmer, and music festival planner. She holds a degree in Communications from Marist College and started her professional career in radio, managing special promotions and large events.
