Idyllwild serves the Hudson Valley, south-central and eastern Catskills, and Western Berkshires, and functions in a hybrid online/in-person capacity. In addition to helping you plan all the visual aspects of your event, we offer floral design service, vendor and rental recommendations, sourced and custom-built decor and signage, and vintage accent furnishings. If your style is timeless as it is eclectic, rooted in Nature, beauty, and community, Idyllwild is for you!

Jasmin was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish and we can’t recommend her enough. From our first meeting with her we could tell how much she loves what she does and how much she cares about bringing the unique vision of a couple’s wedding to life down to the smallest details. Her warmth and enthusiasm were infectious bringing joy into what can be a tedious planning process. She was extremely communicative and responsive throughout, happily tweaking color palettes and sharing insights as our vision came together and sending very helpful renderings to imagine what they would look like on the day. She even came to the rescue at the last minute renting out some frames to us for the table numbers. I’ll never forget the awe I experienced when she handed me my bouquet (the first time I was seeing the flowers in person). They were more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. And her installations were so full of life and celebration. Not only is Jasmin a professional, seamlessly running a business and taking care of her clients, but she is also a true artist with a masterful eye for color, texture, composition, and a wide breadth of knowledge about all things design and flowers.

Some people might have a detailed vision for what they imagine on their Wedding day. I was not one of those people! I had a vague sense of wanting something ethereal and dreamy, with no clear direction of getting there. But from my very first conversation with Jasmine, I had full trust in her creative abilities and eye. She took the reins and crafted something far beyond what I could have ever dreamed up. The arrangements were just breathtaking-lush, romantic, and the arch (!!!!!) she built by hand was so elegant, intricate, and complimented our outdoor venue perfectly. What really stood out, however, was the way she went above and beyond. She picked up so much of my slack with grace and consideration and helped in every way she could. Our wedding flowers and design are some of my favorite parts of our wedding and we will forever be so thankful for all that she did for us. I highly recommend Jasmine to any couple looking for a beyond talented, thoughtful, and incredibly reliable vendor. Be prepared to love her! Book her immediately!!!

Working with Jasmin is a complete dream. From the moment we had our first Zoom call, almost 2 years before the wedding, I immediately adored her. She was recommended to me by our venue, Roxbury Barn and Estate, but I had already scoped her out via Instagram since she was tagged in many of the venue's photos. Her style is absolutely breath-taking and I knew I wanted to work with her right away. After our Zoom call and her shared 'vision board' and proposal, I was so excited to keep planning. She wanted to know my vision and details from the start, and welcomed allllll of the inspo pictures I sent her way! I can't emphasize enough how she truly 'sees' the vision her clients want to bring to life -- and brings her knowledge of florals and eye for design to her work with each couple. She is communicative and collaborative: she asks detailed questions to ensure you 100% love the florals in each aspect of your event. Beyond that, she is so sweet and takes the time to write detailed emails that make you feel seen and heard. Wedding planning can be a stressful process but with Jasmin's talent, professionalism, and collaboration, it feels exciting! I couldn't have been more happy with how my bouquet turned out; in fact, all of the girls and beauty vendors were gushing over the bouquets the morning of the wedding. Our floor alter, which we repurposed as florals in front of our sweetheart table at dinner, were absolutely gorgeous. As Jamin so accurately observed, I was really going for "effortless elegance" (her words, but my exact thoughts!). The gorgeous bud vases and flameless candles came together perfectly, as well as the branches I asked if she could add last-minute! From the very start, I said Jasmin was my favorite vendor to work with and I just can't recommend her enough! If you are in need of a florist in the area, book her -- it will be the best decision you make for your big day!

All of our designs prominently feature nature, and many of our events occur in outdoor settings. Idyllwild is here to help you realistically prepare for the challenges these types of events present. We live for details and absolutely love drawing out your unique story. It's important to Idyllwild to weave in your personal narrative in a way that's elegant and seamless, not cheesy. That's why we spend a lot of time getting to know you as a couple. We ask a lot of questions, so get ready!

You'll be working directly with Jasmin for the better part of your planning process, most of which happens remotely. In the last month of planning and design, other team members will begin to join. There are typically three Idyllwild team members on-site during the setup of your event.

It's best to start designing 12-15 months in advance. That way nothing is rushed, you have plenty of time to make adjustments to your vision and account for supply chain issues, you have your pick of vendors, we can visit your venue on or about your wedding date and get a real feel for the seasonality of your wedding, and we can really become familiar with one another!

No, sorry. The design fee is for the service of pulling together all the many visual and experiential details of your event, emailing and meeting with you, visiting your venue, making recommendations, drafting digital designs and renderings, and our presence at your event for 8-10 hours on your wedding day. Whether we source your flowers, decor structures, rentals, textiles, and paper goods from our own inventory, custom build them, or find it all out in the wild, these are separate goods that will need to be paid for independently. Please consider this when planning your budget.

We power our HV home studio (and the rest of our lives) with solar roof tiles. Our Catskills space is completely off-the-grid, meaning we use only solar or battery-operated tools, collect our water in rain barrels, and compost our floral and personal waste. With no utilities, we're able to live on top of the earth without stripping the land of its integrity. We reduced our use of toxic floral foam- once an industry staple- by 75% in 2021, and our work in 2022 has been completely foam free. Blooms come from both home and abroad, but where possible, we use flowers procured from local wholesalers, upstate NY farms, and our own cutting garden.

Yes, our custom floral design services begin at $7500.

No! We're happy to collaborate with other floral designers, especially if you have your heart set on a certain artist's original work. We would much rather you engage that artist directly than ask us to make a substandard copy. That said, our event style works best with loose and organic floral design styles that incorporate color theory, movement, and thoughtful texture. We definitely don't do glitter, hanging crystals, or elevated flower balls paved with purple orchids and hot pink roses.

We have shelved coordination services indefinitely. We're happy to refer you to a coordinator who works well with us, but logistics are just not in our zone of genius. We're mood board people, not spreadsheet people, ya feel? If you're not sure what the difference is, feel free to ask! We've got an infographic for that.
