I'm Claire. I opened WedWell in 2014 after I had a terrible experience with the planner for my wedding (which is why I aim for a low stress, high fun planning environment). With over a decade of experience in events, it was time that I started helping couples through the wedding planning process. I love all things weddings: the couples, the venues, the uniqueness, the love, the families, the vows, the toasts, the dancing, the photo booths, the cake (well, any dessert really). I love working with all couples because I truly believe love is love. So let's get started!

Before WedWell...I went to Villanova University (Go Nova!) and received a degree in Psychology. Then I attended New York University, where I received my Master's degree in Counseling - which comes in handy during wedding planning! Beyond that, I feel like I have a unique attitude toward planning. I want to be highly organized - down to the tiniest detail - but then I carry a laid back demeanor into the day so everyone can simply enjoy themselves - vendors, couples, and guests!

Description

With full service planning, we help with the whole planning process from venue selection to when the last guest leaves at the end of your wedding - and everything in between.

We consider partial planning "bookends" or "everything but the venue" full service planning. For some, we help find the venue and provide month-of coordination. For others, we help find the vendors and keep the couple on track through the end of the wedding day. We meet regularly and you'll get regular email support.

You can hire us for a "check-in consulting" session starting at $160 - a one-time two hour conversation about your wedding. Or you can pick and choose the planning support you need and we'll put together a custom proposal. This is a very "choose your own adventure" option.

With "day-of" coordination, you'll get basic email support from the date of hire. Then, full service coordination kicks in about eight-weeks out from your wedding day, which includes two consulting sessions, timeline creation/management, final confirmations, and day-of setup and coordination.

  • The BEST Wedding Planner and Cheerleader!

    TLDR: Claire is the absolute best!! If you are looking for a wedding planner, you can stop looking now. I am a very type A person with high expectations and Claire has exceeded them all! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I cannot thank her more. Please see our pictures, credited to Alicia King Photography (https://aliciakingphotography.com/) First: She is a real problem solver - our dream venue was non-negotiable (and one she found/recommended!), but we had issues finding certain vendors (not the venue’s fault, mainly had to do with timing). For example, we were having trouble finding our perfect florist, transportation and hair and makeup - Claire used her contacts and relationships and were able to find the most wonderful team for us and we could not be more grateful. It was true dedication for her to take matters into her own hands when my husband and I were thinking of giving up (i.e., we started looking into DIY options) and it is a testament to her reputation, character, and professionalism that certain vendors decided to make exceptions for us just to be able to work with her again Second: She has great judgment - many parts of the wedding process are not straightforward, and it was great to have Claire be a sounding board for what to do and what not to do. She will always try to give us what we want, but that does not mean that she’s a “yes-woman” and she will always offer her perspective with clear rationale when asked. Third: She cares so much - you can tell she genuinely wants to have each wedding be the best it can be! As you look through her portfolio (check out her instagram “@wewedwell”, where she began making reels post weddings) you’ll see that each wedding is unique and beautiful - no cookie cutter copy and paste here! Our respect for Claire grew through the little moments, whether it’s her proactive emails/lists telling us our immediate next steps (many of which would never occur to me), following up with vendors without prompting, super organized Google drive for resources, and just being extremely responsive (or proactively telling us when she may be slower to respond while working a wedding/on vacation/etc) We loved working with Claire!

    The most thoughtful, organized, fun, amazing person we’ve ever met, and she single-handedly made our wedding PERFECT. Every single detail was perfect, and we were able to enjoy every moment of our night. Her responsiveness was instant, and on the day of she kept my fiancé and I so calm when we were freaking out. All of our friends told us we needed to get a planner, and I am SO thankful we found Claire. She made our wedding so much fun and zero stress and it looked so beautiful. This was the greatest day of our life, if were to do it a hundred times over I would ask Claire every time. Honestly a single thing didn’t go wrong, and I cannot believe I’m saying that about a wedding. In the planning, it was clear the Claire knew exactly what she was doing, has done this so many times, and had planned for everything we could possibly need. Even things we didn’t even realize we needed, thought we’d be fine, and then the day of we were both like “Wow Claire was so right”. Thank you Claire.     Working with Claire and WedWell was the right choice for our wedding planning process! Claire was extremely organized from the very start which really alleviated stress through the entire process. From her materials at the outset which guided our vendor and venue selection as well as the timeline and budget, all the way through her detailed day-of documents - Claire's organization was outstanding and helped make the planning process straightforward and less stressful. She was prompt to update all the wedding logistics documents and if we had any questions, it was easy to look up the plan in those documents. We knew that Claire was always tracking important information so it didn't have to be on our plates! As we selected vendors and venues, Claire provided helpful insight from her knowledge of the market in New York. She was always available to provide her opinions without being pushy or forceful. On the day of the wedding, Claire and her team made everything so easy! Everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there without us having to think about it. She made sure that the wedding party had all the instructions and did enough rehearsals to ensure that the actual event looked flawless. We really were able to enjoy the day without thinking once about planning or logistics! Claire was always pleasant to deal with and very responsive. We would happily recommend Claire to any couples considering it in the future!

    Claire was by far the easiest, calmest, and most organized planner around. She made the wedding planning process feel easy & affordable for a couple who wasn’t from NYC. Her recommendations were perfect for what we wanted and her spreadsheets to help us compare/decide were above and beyond. She was honest with her opinions and helped us stay within a very tight budget for the city - which no other planner felt was possible or was even willing to work with us for. Claire followed up the month of our wedding with all the vendors and made sure nothing was missing & the timing was perfect. Every single detail I would have never even thought of was mapped out and answered by the time of the rehearsal, so the week of our wedding was nothing but fun and celebrations. Claire was professional, but personable, and was very easy to talk to. She even dealt with my night shift schedule (emailing her constantly in the middle of the night) and handled everything during the day (business hours) so I didn’t have to worry about it. After the wedding was over, she helped us find some ceremonial items that were misplaced & even helped us dig through contracts to get money back when we were wrongfully charged by another vendor! Always went an extra mile for us. I have recommended WedWell to any and all of my friends/coworkers who are recently engaged. I can’t recommend her enough!!
