I'm Charissa owner & lead planner. My doormat says it best, 'running on coffee, wine, and the dog's time', but seriously I start every intro call with the disclaimer that you may hear the barking, snoring, or a squeaky toy in the background. I'm the twenty-something-year-old that's gone from throwing "Weddings" in her neighbor's driveway, to throwing them in some pretty amazing spaces. With over a decade of experience in weddings and corporate events, this isn't my first rodeo. Weddings are sort of my thing!

In addition to answering all your questions, we can create a timeline, and layout, proof a wedding website or invitation, and so much more. Wedding August 2024
We had a wonderful experience working with Simply Loved Weddings for our wedding planning. Melissa’s communication was extremely helpful and responsive - she was always available to answer questions or provide guidance, whether through email, phone calls, or texts. They brought an organized, professional approach that really prepared us for our big day. Melissa made sure everything ran smoothly so we could relax and enjoy our wedding. They handled all the planning and coordination with vendors, setup, and tear down. We also felt very supported on the actual wedding day - our planner made sure we stayed on schedule and were ready for each event. We'd highly recommend their services to other couples looking for an stress-free wedding experience.
Amazing!
I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! We got tons of compliments from our guests at how lovely the entire wedding was and I know we could not have pulled it off without Charissa / Simply Loved Weddings!!

I don’t even know where to start with how much I love Charissa and the whole team at Simply Loved! I was an out of state bride from Florida getting married in Connecticut and she left me with zero worries. I’m a crazy, type A, planner so I was scared to put my trust in someone else and Charissa never let me down. She always had an answer for my questions and responded so quickly. She did EVERYTHING for me, I truly mean it all. She found every single vendor, with multiple options, made my wedding day run so smoothly, and will now forever be a friend of ours! Also, she basically has your own personal bodyguard for your wedding day which was the best thing ever haha! Don’t think twice, book Simply Loved Weddings ASAP!!
