We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.

I had the pleasure of working with Misha and her company Midnite picnic this summer. I was the Caterer and the coordinator can make or break an event. Misha was organized, efficient, so hands on and helpful. We worked seamlessly side by side and she made the event a completely smooth, well timed and executed day. We found Evelyn and Love & Laughter through Instagram and we can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our entire planning experience! We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

Hands down, Faye Fern Creative was our favorite wedding vendor. We could not have trusted our day to a more talented, caring, experienced, and fully dedicated team. During our consultation call, I mentioned a mutual Instagram friend connection and discovered that Natalie had coincidentally planned a stylish film industry event for them in New York almost a decade ago and also the wedding of one of their friends. My friend had nothing but fabulous things to say. The way she described what it was like to work with Natalie made me know instantly that we HAD to book her. My husband and I found it very easy to trust the Faye Fern design and planning team throughout everything. Natalie rescued us from making several bad decisions with her sage advice and I am not embarrassed to admit that things could have turned out quite disastrous for us if we had been left to plan our own wedding without her expertise. She also literally saved us hundreds of hours and prevented me from having to go down an endless research blackhole because she introduced us to the best vendors for our vision and managed EVERYTHING. Anyone who has ever had a wedding probably knows how easy it is to get overwhelmed by the number of vendor choices and social media horror stories of bad vendor experiences. We were grateful to have Natalie’s guidance and knew that she was only booking us vendors who were trustworthy and fit our aesthetic. At the start, Natalie told us that she customizes the experience to the couple. She took a lot of care to learn our communication style and how involved we wanted to be in planning. We chose to let her take the reins and just present us options to make major decisions on. She was very respectful of our vision and even made wonderful design suggestions that improved it. Natalie also preferred to get everything locked down sooner rather than later, kept us on track with deadlines, and is so organized and well prepared. This allowed us to spend the final month before our wedding in an unexpected state of relaxation and she encouraged us to turn our focus to self-care since almost all the work had already been done. SO, SO different from our siblings and friends who spent their own final month before their weddings still stressing about timelines, seating and floor plans, and all kinds of last minute tasks. We were grateful to have avoided that because it allowed us to arrive at our wedding feeling well rested, calm, and 100 percent confident that we were about to have the best weekend of our lives. It should also be said that Natalie’s design genius is nothing short of inspiring. She came up with our perfect color palette and wedding design even though most of the inspiration photos I sent her were of travel, fashion, interiors and graphic design that I liked. I told her that I didn’t have much saved in terms of wedding photos and she just said “No problem, I absolutely love that. We don’t want your wedding to look exactly like someone else’s anyway!” and went right to work, coming up with such a gorgeous design that fit who we are. We could not recommend Faye Fern Creative any more highly. If you are looking for a designer or planning team who will exceed every expectation and feel like supportive lifelong friends, this is it. We are so, so, so very happy!

After wrapping up our wedding, it became clear that it could never have happened without Savvy Weddings. I highly recommend Sandra and her team. When we were looking for help with wedding planning, we wanted a planner who could make our backyard wedding everything we imagined. Since we didn’t have a real “venue,” we had to bring in everything. This overwhelming task felt completely achievable with Sandra's help. Sandra is extremely hardworking and dedicated to making your day the most special and perfect event. Despite only having her partial services, Sandra met with us over ten times and drove to our venue site countless times to reassure us that everything would work out as we imagined. She even brought in extra team members for the complicated task of flipping our ceremony venue into a dinner reception. She attended our tastings with us and advocated on our behalf’s when we had decision fatigue with numerous vendors. Believe me when I say, we would never have been able to plan this event without Sandra’s help. Her expertise in helping us hand-pick every vendor, nail down a super complicated timeline, and ensure we didn’t get overwhelmed in the process was crucial to our Wedding. While working an event, by the end of the night, everyone was calling me "Mom" because I was there for whatever they needed and it made us all laugh. In looking back at these moments and the feedback from my past clients and colleagues, it makes me proud to think that "everyone needs a Bradie." Bradie is an absolutely incredible wedding coordinator! I had not even hired her yet and she was helping me find vendors (who we also hired). Even our photographer, who had never worked with Bradie before, said she was the best he had ever had the pleasure of working with. Bradie works with you early to make sure you are on track and helps with any questions that come up. As the wedding got closer, Bradie took on communicating and organizing with my other vendors. Any bump in the plan that came up, she was on it to make sure it was resolved. If any detail was stressing me out, Bradie, took it on no problem. She was usually already working on it by the time I asked. The day of coordination was flawless. I didn't really have to think of a thing, I just got to have fun and enjoy the big day. It's 8 million percent worth it to have Bradie as your coordinator.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Shelley. She was hired as our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more! She gave us vendor recommendations, reached out frequently to check in, and encouraged us along the way.
