Mini Melanie was founded in 2015 by sisters Melanie and Diana Moss. Melanie grew up baking with their grandmother, and her hobby steadily grew into an obsession. While attending Northwestern University, Melanie studied in Paris and was Sous Chef at Cours de Cuisine atelier. She later attended the Institute of Culinary Education and honed her craft in the Michelin-starred kitchens of Babbo and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, where she was Pastry Sous Chef. Melanie’s desserts have been recognized in the 2016 New York City Michelin guide, and in 2018, Melanie became Champion of a special-themed chocolate competition on Food Network’s CHOPPED.

Here is the corner stone of our house, Mr. Armando Leyva. At the very young age of 23, along side his wife Mrs. Lorely Leyva, they decided to follow in his fathers foot steps and enter the bakery business. Still a novice to the bakery world, he leaned on his fathers many years of expeciece as a bread master. Much to his surpise the bakery was much more than just breads, soon they would discover many talents needed to be learned and fast.

Jon Payson and Naomi Josepher moved to NYC in the early Nineties. Together, they enjoyed seeking out phenomenal desserts all around the city. When they moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn in 2003, they noticed a need for a dessert café on quickly changing Fifth Avenue. After reading an inspirational book on chocolate, they decided to create a café specializing in high-end chocolate, extraordinary desserts, handmade ice creams, dessert wines and beers from all over the world, as well as superb coffee. They opened in January 2005 and is currently serving the Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.

SnoScoops came out of a need for a refreshing yet delish dessert that met my dietary needs. In 2024, I went on the Paleo diet as part of the 75 Hard, and found it difficult to find a dessert that was sugar free, dairy free and oat free so I made my own. The Evercake concept started as I was ordering flowers online while skimming Pinterest for my toddler's birthday cake. I wanted a beautiful cake that I could add to a cart and have delivered. Why didn't this exist? A few months later, The Evercake was born. We are different in that we are strictly buttercream based (no overworked fondant here). Our recipes are tried and true, slightly less sweet, and with designs aimed to be worthy of your celebrations. Daniel Colonel loves telling stories through dessert. As a child, he was fascinated with food and always interested how it was made. He took his love for food, and sweet tooth to the Culinary Institute of America where he graduated in Baking and Pastry Management. Daniel's favorite part of the process is connecting with the couple and getting to know their love story. Wedding cakes with sugar flowers are his specialty but during the pandemic, he has began other sweet ventures including mini premium desserts that are served in cones and cookie boxes.

Our liquor-infused ice cream flavors are all inspired by classic and contemporary cocktails and are made with local and seasonal ingredients in New York, NY. Tipsy scoop blends the magic of an artisanal, hand-crafted ice cream with the mastery of a perfectly mixed cocktail. My great, great, great grandfather, Achille, moved from his small mountaintop town of Picinisco, Italy to Glasgow, Scotland. He made ice cream at home and sold it from a pushcart as he walked the city streets. Eventually he opened his own ice cream shop and brought his sons into the business.
