Aria was INCREDIBLE to work with. She crafted the most beautiful, unique, thoughtful arrangements for our table decorations, bouquet, and chuppah. She even worked with us to give each of our guests their own little succulent to take home. Our guests kept telling us that they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they've ever seen. Aria was amazing to work with. She was attentive to our taste and put together arrangements that were beyond anything we could've imagined. Would 100000/10 recommend her for other events!

Susan was truly incredible to work with! She was always extremely friendly, quick to respond to our emails, professional, and respectful of our budget. Susan was able to take our inspiration photos and create floral arrangements that were perfect for our wedding and venue (Brooklyn Winery)! She went above and beyond what we could’ve imagined and we couldn’t believe how beautiful everything looked when we walked into the space for the first time. Susan took our vision and executed it perfectly. We received countless compliments from guests about how beautiful the arrangements were, and we loved the way that Susan was able to incorporate the different colors and textures that we were looking for with all of the floral arrangements! The flowers were also all of the highest quality. We were still able to enjoy the flowers that we took home from our wedding after we got back from our honeymoon :). Thank you, Susan, for all of the amazing work that you did for our wedding.

Kendra did the best job with our wedding flowers! At first we were not sure if we even wanted a florist, given the cost of other florists in our area, but at the suggestion of a friend who worked with Kendra for her wedding a few years ago, we gave Kendra a call. She is the nicest florist who didn't make us feel bad for our (relatively) small budget, and worked with us on a beautiful floral scheme that was tasteful but exquisite -- just what we wanted! She went totally above and beyond what we paid for, providing us with a chuppah design that was extraordinary (given that we thought we could only afford something small), and a bridal bouquet/center pieces to die for. She helped us stay within our budget while giving us even more than we could dream of for florals. After speaking with other florists who laughed in our faces about our budget, Kendra was kind, accommodating, and creative with our wedding florals. She is a one-of-a-kind florist and we highly, highly recommend you hire her!

We had the absolute best experience working with Florescent and Sam for our wedding! I truly cannot say enough great things about them! I came to Sam with the idea of doing a colorful meadow for our altar but the issue was that the inspo pictures I had for this were from a VERY pricy Lake Como wedding. But Sam came to the rescue and figured out a way to make my floral dreams come true on my much more limited budget! She worked hard to come up with ways that the flowers could be repurposed and used in different ways throughout the venue following our ceremony. She took all of my notes about the colors of flowers I was interested in and completely exceeded my expectations without much more direction from me! She came up with the most beautiful combinations of flowers in the arrangements and bouquets she created and totally blew us all away! When I first walked into our wedding venue I was completely amazed by what Sam and her team did and how their amazing work transformed the space and brought my dreams to life. I cannot thank Sam and her team at Florescent enough and I also cannot recommend them more highly! Thank you, thank you, thank you Sam and Florescent!!!

        Lavka Flowers

        5.0

        Brooklyn, NY
        • Starts at $4,500

Katya Rusin established Lavka Flowers with the singular goal of revisioning the sentiment and enjoyment of what was once a humble act; the giving and accepting of flowers. As the lead designer, Katya is inspired most by art and it's a visual quality that connects people. She translates this visual quality through the use of color to transform individual flowers into a collective whole. Katya achieves her designs by utilizing the elements of design with an appreciation for texture.

Katya is absolutely outstanding! Not only was she a pleasure to work with, but her skills in floral design are unsurpassed! The orchid arrangements with the black table cloth was my wedding, and she truly made my vision come to life so perfectly (which was not easy). Besides the fact, she was able to work with me on my budget and helped me cut corners where we could. Do not skip out on Katya, she will truly make your day even more special than you could ever imagine!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

All of the floral creations were all stunning and my guests could not stop talking about the flowers that they were able to take home. Special thank you to Lorrie who sourced Ranunculus for my bouquet even though they were off season. I would highly recommend Style & Vine for your wedding!

We love what we do, and we love how flowers can bring so much joy and happiness to any space. Even something as simple as a small bud vase. We’ve been growing and working hard. True love of flowers and plants has led us to this life, and we can’t wait to share this passion with you! Come by, say hi!

As someone who struggles with design and knows very little about florals I feel so lucky to have found Rosehip for my wedding! I worked with Lauren who was absolutely fantastic. She asked all the right questions to put together a proposal (and a revised proposal when I changed my mind again!) that would reflect the vision I had for my wedding. She was respectful of our budget, patient with my indecisiveness, and incredibly thoughtful in offering ideas to ensure our wedding design was unique to us. Beyond that, Lauren was the most responsive vendor I worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process which was so appreciated! The Rosehip team was professional, set up all our florals without issue, and created a beautiful day for us.

My traditional design skills mixed with my trained eye from the fashion industry has helped shape what my design style is today- whimsical, ethereal, & extremely detailed. I consider my arrangements & installations to be a sculptures & am inspired by nature and it’s immense growth & colors, Dutch Master paintings, & the 60s psychedelic movement.

My best friend Rose was planning her wedding and asked if I would arrange the flowers. I absolutely loved being creative and being part of her special day. The next week I enrolled in Flower School and after I finished my studies I started The Gathering florist and haven’t looked back!

Wow, we had such an amazing experience working with The Gathering Florist. Victoria is incredible to work with. She is easy to communicate with and responds promptly to your questions. We loved her personality as well, she is super approachable and fun to collaborate with. She fully captured our mood board, but even greater than we imagined. For context, my brother who works in events helped to curate/elevate our mood board and felt she did a beautiful job! We loved the ambiance she created with the florals and candles at our venue, Giando on the Water. I would 1000 percent recommend her as a florist. Although we didn’t have a coordinator for our wedding, if we did have one, we definitely would have booked her services! Truly a great experience working with her, no notes!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

            4.9

            • Serves Brooklyn, NY

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

            Awarded Best of Zola
We had a tropical themed wedding and used Flower Moxie for tropical flowers and greenery: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony arch flowers. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!
