    I had been following Velvet Valley Cakes on Instagram long before I was engaged and knew I was going to hire them to make my wedding cake when the time came. Soon after the proposal, my fiance and I ordered her sampler and were blown away by how delicious the cake flavors were. We could not decide between two specific flavors so Blair let us pick one flavor for our main wedding cake and the other for the supplementary sheet cakes. Our guests loved having options and both flavors. Style and aesthetic were the first things that piqued my interest in hiring Velvet Valley Cakes and I was excited to have a vintage style cake and even more excited when Blair used elements from my parents’ wedding cake as inspiration. We are very happy with our decision and can’t wait to have another reason to order a cake from her!

From the very first interaction, Blair was kind, caring, and incredibly detail-oriented down to the exact color I was envisioning. She took the time to understand every little detail I wanted with our cake & brought my vision to life in the most beautiful and delicious way. The cake itself was not only visually stunning, but also incredibly tasty. I cannot recommend Velvet Valley Cakes highly enough! She truly helped make our special day even more perfect. People are still making comments about how amazing it looked & tasted almost a month later!

    Planning a wedding on your own is no. piece of cake! Blair made the wedding cake. The decision process is seamless. I had a till-death wedding, and the black heart layered cake couldn't be perfect. Not only did she help me through and helped me with the cake testing (the bonus is samples got shipped right to. my apartment). She helped create a red velvet sponge cake that was a custom option. The cake was wowed by myself and all the guests. Thank you, Blair, for making me—my dream wedding cake.
