Choosing to have our wedding at The House of Yes was one of the best decisions we could have made! All of our guests found it to be a truly unique, memorable and fun experience. The team at House of Yes, is amazing to work with, they were able to understand we wanted a fun but elegant experience and were very creative with the execution to make this come to life! Last, we catered our food from their sister restaurant Queen, which was incredible as well!

I cannot say enough about how amazing the Box House was. The venue alone is truly special and a gem in the city. From our first tour to the day after our wedding, the staff was exceptional. They made the process very easy special thanks to Abbas, Mariel, Daryna and Nick. I planned my wedding without a wedding planner and with the help and expertise of the planners at the Box House you do not need one!! The event staff was also super accommodating to some of our requests, and remembered little things we mentioned to them in passing (shout out to the passed around espresso martini shots!). Aside from the venue and staff, the food was fantastic. Probably the best wedding food we’ve had and I’m not being bias! Thank you Box House!

Brooklyn Winery was the first venue that we looked at and we immediately knew that it was the perfect fit for us. The space is absolutely beautiful and has the perfect layout for a wedding. The greenery wall was the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony. We also loved the skylights and all of the fun lighting fixtures throughout the space, which made for such a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We also had wonderful interactions with every single person that we worked with at Brooklyn Winery. Our first conversation and venue tour with Tatiana was extremely informative and helped to answer all of the questions that we had. This made us feel comfortable in our decision to choose Brooklyn Winery for our wedding. We got to meet more of the venue staff during our tasting and all of them were so kind to us. Everyone came over to introduce themselves and get to know us. We had dinner at the restaurant after our final walkthrough and were able to see some of the venue staff from the tasting, who remembered us and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. And most importantly, we absolutely LOVED working with our Event Manager, Marissa Allain! Marissa was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, providing quick responses to all of our questions. She kept us organized and thought through every little detail so that everything would run smoothly on the day of the wedding. Marissa helped us feel at ease throughout the whole process of wedding planning. She was so warm, genuine, and thoughtful and we feel so lucky to have had her as our event manager. We don’t know how we could have done it without her. The food was also a highlight of having a wedding at Brooklyn Winery. We had several guests with food allergies / dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free, pescatarian, vegetarian, and more. Brooklyn Winery was able to help us modify the dishes that selected to accommodate all of these dietary restrictions and make sure that there would be something for everybody to enjoy. And the food was delicious! We were blown away at how good it was and received countless compliments from friends and family. Thank you to the Brooklyn Winery team for helping us have a beautiful wedding that we will remember for the rest of our lives :)!

The venue combines 8,900 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space. Dobbin St was designed with the sole intention to create the most exceptional and stunning event experience. Our clients have the use of 4,250 sq ft of internal space, and a 750 sq ft dedicated client mezzanine. A 900 sq ft courtyard is the beautiful hidden gem that completes the space. Our mezzanine includes a client suite with an en-suite bathroom and a private lounge with floor to ceiling glass windows. One flight up is a 3,000 sq ft terrace - an exquisite setting for a wedding ceremony or open-air event.

We got married at Dobbin St. on March 23, 2019. We fell in love with the space the first time we saw it. The high ceilings, clean lines, and minimalist look were just what we wanted, and unlike anything else we had seen. It was like a "clean" slate that we were able to completely make our own with our choice of flowers, lighting, place settings, etc. The whole Dobbin St. team was amazing to work with - they were with us every step of the way. Rule of Thirds is a restaurant and event venue that operates out of Brooklyn, New York. Situated in a vibrant, urban setting not far from McCarren Park, there is a chic, design-orientated, and industrial ambience to enjoy here. An ideal place to host your wedding celebration, you are sure to be enthralled by the high quality of space, food, drink, and service within the venue.

Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.

Madeline's is a cocktail bar and events space built within an old, decommissioned pencil factory. We have multiple spaces including a main floor, a mezzanine that overlooks the main bar, a private room that holds 80+ and skylights throughout to provide amazing lighting all day. We can provide full A/V setup, kitchen, and customized beverage programs. We also have several wedding tenured DJs on staff who could perfectly set the right vibe for your event.

We used Madeline's as a venue for the after party to our reception. Its a great spot with a beautiful private back room with its own bar and bathrooms. Brenton, the manager, was super helpful in showing off the space and figuring out the right option for our party. The staff was incredibly friendly and the drinks and food packages are exceedingly reasonable, especially for the area. Wanted to highlight that you can BYO DJ if wanted, as the have a separate audio setup in the back from the rest of the bar. Our guests had a blast and we were able to comfortably fit about 50 in the back room and there was room for a few more if needed. 10/10 would recommend Madeline's for any after parties, welcome parties or otherwise.

I cannot say enough good things about my wedding at Wythe! The staff are so friendly and thoughtful. The event was so smooth. They have it all done! And yet, it was still an open canvas for us to make our own. The food was amazing. My guests raved about the food. Even my friend who has been to A LOT of weddings said it was the best wedding food she’s ever had. Service was wonderful. I asked for recommendations for photographer and day of coordinator and both were amazing!
