She was always so open and honest with us. We built a great working relationships and we knew we could trust her decision on everything. Whenever we ran into any issues or decisions, Marsha knew our answer before we even said it. She always asked us our opinions and gave her professional feedback. Marsha was very flexible and kept the lines of communication open by continuously giving us updates as our wedding date approached. She set reasonable timelines to ensure everything was done in a timely manner. If a problem arose, she already had a solution before she would call and let us know. She handled everything, from vetting the right vendors to meet our requirements and giving honest reviews on their products and services. We hired Jacinda for month/day of coordination and it was honestly the BEST decision we made while wedding planning! We got to work with Jacinda and LeAnna and they were absolutely amazing! They were so organized and easy to work with, we had full faith in them to help us execute the perfect day. Added plus, they are so fun to hang out with! LeAnna was on top of everything the day of, if something went wrong we have no idea. I was a DIY bride and LeAnna made my vision come to life! We also decided to sneak into the bridal suite for a private dinner (absolutely recommend doing that!) and LeAnna made sure the room was set so nicely for us, with little tea lights and everything. I cannot say thank you enough to Steph! She was absolutely amazing. She was so committed to learning what aspects of the wedding were most important to us and making sure they happened on the day of. For example, we were getting caught up in the dancing and were going to skip the cake cutting. She didn’t push, she just asked, “Are you sure? You told me that this was something that was important to you, so I just want to check”. And I’m so thankful she did that, because it’s one of my favorite wedding moments! She went absolutely above and beyond for us. I am currently in medical school and was so stressed leading up to the wedding, but Steph made me feel like it was possible. She was so organized and wrote out every detail we discussed. She went out of her way to suggest some vendors we were struggling to book last minute, and the list goes on. I cannot recommend Steph enough. She is wonderful and sweet and kind and I cannot believe I found her! We could not have done it without her.

You name it. Kendra even sat with my daughter (4yo) when she got upset, to keep her entertained during the ceremony. Everything was so perfect. At Flourish Wedding Design our goal is to take on the challenge of putting together an unforgettable wedding experience for you and your loved ones while keeping sustainability at the forefront of our minds and your event.

We hired Flourish for both our florals and our wedding coordination, and we definitely recommend their team!! First, I’m not a big flower person and I didn’t really know what I wanted, so Jennifer worked with me to find something in our budget that incorporated our theme/colors. The florals turned out so beautiful that the day after my wedding I impulsively splurged on getting my bouquet preserved in resin as a serving tray because I just couldn’t bear to throw it away! We went with the wedding management option because it made sense with our budget and I had already selected most of our vendors, but they still provided me with vendor recommendations for the last few ones I needed, which definitely reduced the amount of time I spent researching! All wedding coordination services are expensive, but Flourish is reasonably priced, and we got a discount for using a “preferred venue” (The Rafters at Historic St. Marks)- this was also great because they knew our venue super well so they had very helpful tips for our layout and timeline. I chose Flourish because they are a small and local team with a focus on sustainability, so it was a much more personal experience. They made the last few months of wedding planning so much less stressful, and we were very happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day!

We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. Sabrina and Chelsea were a pleasure to work with since our very first call! After our intro call where we described our dream wedding, they gave us a list of recommended venues that was an immense help in our venue search. This was before we signed with them which I thought was very kind for them to do! They were very positive, friendly and patient with our many questions. We ended up doing the wedding management and tabletop design package. We worked closely with Sabrina throughout the planning and she is amazing! Always calm and reassuring that we were on track with planning. The team is super organized and also gave us planning tools like a checklist and budget tracker. Communication was always easy and I asked for monthly calls which helped a lot. The design process was fun and Sabrina was able to create our design plan based on our Pinterest board, as well as recommend vendors that fit our aesthetic. She even helped make our table signage! The day of went perfectly as planned and was absolutely beautiful! We were able to just show up without a worry! Our bridal party was also able to just enjoy the day since Lucky Day was handling everything. Sabrina and her assistant checked in with us throughout the wedding day and helped with my dress, shoes, and even had to go on the beach with us for photos. They set up all our extra decor and neatly packed everything at the end of the night so we didn’t forget anything. We had last minute changes to our schedule the week of and Sabrina was able to manage all our requests. We had our dream wedding come true and would highly recommend Lucky Day!

Hiring Nicole as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. Nicole was prompt, thoughtful, and generous with her time and attention at every turn, and blew our expectations for a coordinator out of the park. I think it says a lot also when other vendors who do events like this frequently have good things to say, and our other vendors were positively raving about Nicole to us as the lead-in and the actual wedding day unfolded. Some highlights: * Monthly check-ins: Nicole was prompt and helpful in answering questions and making suggestions at each check-in. We got grateful feedback on some of Nicole’s suggestions about venue directions from several of our guests who used the website to navigate. * Very organized run-of-show: Nicole really set us off on a good foot with the wedding itinerary she sent over the month-ish before the wedding. The questionnaire that she sent us to build the initial draft of the itinerary was well-balanced with both brass tacks details and more open-ended questions about the flow and spirit of the day. What we didn’t expect was the amazing job Nicole then did of turning around and communicating with our other vendors about the details we settled on. Over the next week or so we started having our one-month-out check-ins with catering, photography, music, etc. and the major theme was “well I had a long list of questions for you, but your coordinator reached out to me–she is just FANTASTIC–and if we can confirm [insert all the correct details] then actually there’s nothing to do on your end”. It was AWESOME. For example, here is one of the actual quotes from one of my vendors emailing me:

 “Nicole and I talked and everything is taken care of, she is delightful and I can’t wait to meet her! Soooo excited for the big day!”

In the chaos of planning such a large-event I’m sure that anyone reading this review can imagine what a pleasure and a relief getting message after message like this is. And those messages were repeated by all of our vendors and many of our guests on the day. The thorough planning Nicole orchestrated really paid off. Our photos got knocked out like 1-2-3-DONE with Nicole’s cat-herding skills and thorough lists of names, and even when there were a few shuffley moments in the day (there will always be *something*) we were able to sail through them pretty breezily because Nicole had a firm handle on the broader spirit that we wanted the day to instill in us and our guests. At the end of our night, Nicole had already gotten most of the venue turned over (definitely, definitely recommend her services at Rural Hill in particular, a venue that she also manages). Our things to take home were neatly packaged to be loaded into our car. It was crazy easy and we were wrapped up in plenty of time for our rental period. As an extra bonus, I remembered the next day that we needed to collect and return a cake stand to our baker–when I reached out to Nicole about it the afternoon of the *day after our wedding*, she had already taken care of its return for us. There is even more I could go on about but my first draft of this review exceeded the character limit: there is really too much to type. TL;DR: Nicole was amazing. I don’t even feel like I covered everything, but she was absolutely key in making our day TOTALLY MAGICAL and RIDICULOUSLY EASY. 10/10 recommend, she is a pleasure to work with and really on top of things.

She was well-prepared for all of our pre-wedding meetings, and willing to take on anything we asked her to do, including communicating with our vendors. She made sure we were on-task with getting our vendors booked and décor and music decisions made in plenty of time. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she made my vision for the day come to life in every way. She will spoil you, say yes to all the little things, and make you feel so loved and taken care of! I had complete confidence in her and her team on wedding day and the only nervous feelings I had were the normal, fun, wedding jitters! She was an absolute rockstar, ensuring that even when little things went slightly awry, she had a back-up plan that made the wedding day go so smoothly. My caterers ran behind, but she adjusted our reception order of events to still maximize our time on the dance floor - which she knew was a major priority for us. She made sure that an unexpected trip to Food Lion was made to add some color to our florals when our florist got things mixed up. She made sure my husband and I had our vehicle packed with extra wedding food and drink for our send off, and it made our honeymoon afterwards such a restful experience free of meal prep, haha! Family and friends even said she and her team did an amazing job with organizing the after-wedding cleanup and made wonderful comments about her when we returned home from our honeymoon. Not only that, Morgan can keep a secret (or 3!) for ya! I planned so many surprises for my husband on our wedding day, and she helped me pull them off successfully, communicating with our vendors, videoing little snippets, taking pictures, and capturing so many moments throughout the entire day. My only regret is that we didn't get a picture with her to commemorate the adventure of wedding planning we all went on together throughout that season of our lives! Without a doubt, Morgan played a pivotal role in making our wedding day the most wonderful day of our lives, and we would highly recommend her and her team for coordinating your wedding!
