The best decision my wife and I made in the entire planning process for our wedding was hiring Carolyn and Fete Events. I can’t speak highly enough of Carolyn — she was professional, impeccably prepared, ingenuously creative, and a genuine pleasure to work with across the board. She made our wedding a beautiful, seamless experience and her help was truly invaluable. Carolyn was involved in discussions a couple months out from the event, providing guidance and a detailed timeline. Any speed bumps we hit with our venue or other vendors, Carolyn was ready to jump in and assist. She had answers to all our of questions and solutions to problems we hadn’t even considered yet. And that was all before the wedding weekend. On the day of, we didn’t have to think about anything but enjoying our day together. Carolyn had it all taken care of and her cool and calm demeanor kept us feeling comfortable. Slay Events was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Lily was warm, attentive, friendly, and responsive to all questions we had. Her communication was top-notch, and she was extremely detail-oriented, ensuring that everything came together seamlessly for our special day. Her planning tools and quick thinking helped us thinking of many details we would have missed otherwise. Lily truly went above and beyond, even being willing to help us coordinate our tea ceremony (which we hosted the day before our wedding). We asked Lily if she would be open to helping us coordinate our tea ceremony about a month before the event when we realized that we were getting overwhelmed with the details. She was ready and jumped right in to help! Lily ran both our tea ceremony and the wedding flawlessly. Where do we even begin? Before hiring Clémence, we met over a video call, getting to know each other to make sure we worked well together. We think this is an essential step in choosing any wedding planner, since ideas need to be communicated in both directions. Being on the same page about the vision of your wedding is key. It did not take long at all for us to know that she was the absolute best choice for us. Clémence is incredibly friendly and holds herself to such a high standard, and that shows in the work she does. She has an entire process for planning that includes timelines of when things are to be done, vendors are to be booked, and more. Everything is laid out clearly, and she checks in regularly to make sure things are on track. These timelines start from several months before the wedding and go all the way down to the day itself. She makes it known that she wants your day to be exactly how you want it and works hard to achieve that. Whenever we had a new idea or a modification to an existing one, she was always open to hearing it and working to make it happen. We went with an Italian garden-style theme for our wedding, and Clémence executed that vision perfectly. We somehow seemed to be on the same wavelength about everything. Not only did she follow through on executing our ideas, but she also incorporated her own input that fit into the wedding and expanded on it perfectly. As first-time bride and groom, we struggled with knowing how to budget properly. Clémence helped us spend in places where it made the most sense for us and save on things we didn't need. Bit of a random anecdote, but we wanted to have pizza at the end of our afterparty. Our initial search was going to have us spending hundreds of dollars to have standard pizzas delivered to our venue. Clémence saved the day when she found an even closer shop that made heart-shaped pizzas for a fraction of the cost. As Clémence has been doing this for a while now, she's gained rapport with several vendors and was able to speak to the quality of their work and service. This took so much pressure off of us, since we didn't merely have to trust the sales pitch of whatever vendors we happened to find on our own. Once we had our vendors locked in, Clémence took care of managing timelines for each, such as when to meet with them, choosing items for the wedding, and payment schedules. Not only does she work her hardest when she's by your side, she also has your back when you don't even notice. Nearly a month after the wedding, we found out that our venue's staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful to our vendors. This forced everyone to work at 110% to compensate for the lack of assistance. However, the way Clémence handled this was with such grace and professionalism that we didn't notice, nor did any of our guests, that things weren't running smoothly. Her integrity is truly inspiring. As cheesy as it may sound, we've gained a genuine lifelong friend in Clémence. The influence and quality of her work extend far beyond wedding planning. If it wasn't clear already, we cannot recommend Clémence enough. Her work speaks for itself and was by far the best investment we made for our wedding.

Korina and her assistant Ashley blended both professionalism and familiarity in their working style. Korina is personable, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Importantly, she initiated communication amongst all our vendors without us needing to ask her to do so. Amidst the busy summer wedding season of 2024, Korina was immediately responsive, constantly flexible, and tracked even the most minute details we asked of her. She answered our questions using her expertise and if there was something we had to find out, she was quick ​in response and immediate to action. For the wedding reception day, she notated which seats were for the young guests so as to remember where the coloring pages were to be placed, she was instrumental in placing each individual gift bag to match the names of our guests in their appropriate seats, and she was even our personal bodyguard during our 10 minutes of eating in peace! Korina's impact was so incredible that we completely forgot there were things we were supposed to worry about on the day of! Korina made us feel at home during a time of potential chaos and multiple moving parts. Our experience would not have shined as much as it did without Korina's leadership and behind-the-scenes work. And to think that she found our 150-guest reception to be a piece of cake. Imagine how much potential she has with your next event!

Jenna was incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, making everything easy and stress-free. She was always available to answer our questions and provide guidance, she helped us with DJ recommendations, design and ultimately delivered the wedding of our dreams! Jenna went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect. Jenna was our favorite person throughout the entire process, and as the bride I was constantly talking about how much I relied on her and loved having her as the person to lean on. I already miss working with her and both of us cannot recommend her highly enough. On our wedding day, we did not worry about a single thing thanks to her. She kept everyone organized, she handled many different personalities with professionalism, kindness, humor and grace. From the moment we booked Spark & Sage Events to coordinate our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. Amanda and her team were incredibly helpful, ultra communicative, consistent, and dependable throughout the entire planning process. Working with Olivia Johnson, owner of Amore Atelier, was an absolute dream. When we first got engaged and booked our dream venue, L’Auberge Del Mar, it was overwhelming sifting through all of the vendors in San Diego and in stepped Olivia, taking away all of that stress. Olivia not only relieved us of the wedding planning stress but, designed a custom package that was not only within our budget but, that also met our needs. Our first meeting lasted over 2 hours as we chatted as if we were old friends and it was at this point we knew we had found someone we could trust to bring our vision to life. After meeting with us once, she curated a list of vendors that she felt fit our personalities and desires. She hit the nail right on the head with each and every one, making our wedding dream become a reality. Working together over the 9 months leading up to our wedding her passion and attention to detail were evident. When it came to the days leading up to our wedding we knew that everything was taken care of and we could enjoy family time as our guests slowly trickled in to Southern California. I can't say enough great things about Miranda and her team! From our first conversation, we immediately connected with her and she already felt like a friend. She quickly understood our vision for our wedding and what was important to us. She encouraged us to make it very personal and unique--she never shot down any weird ideas we might've had but also brought an experienced perspective, while also keeping us on track with all of the little details and scheduling. She was so well-organized and professional while also keeping things stress-free, light, and fun. There were no questions too big, too small, or too personal with all the drama that can come with such a big event. Miranda was easy to reach via text/email, and took the initiative to reach out and schedule check-ins when needed to make sure we stayed on track with the huge to-do list that comes with a wedding. Her vendor recommendations & other suggestions were awesome, but she also respected a couple of the areas where we found our own vendors with no questions asked. She truly helped us get every detail settled, down to the napkins and our catering order details. She took all the stress off once we got to the month of and leading up to the wedding day, confirming with our vendors so we didn't have to worry about it whatsoever. Our wedding day went seamlessly thanks to her--it sounds cliche but it was the most fun and beautiful day ever and we were able to really enjoy it thanks to Miranda. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the SD area! She also helped us with signage for the day-of and did a beautiful job at a super reasonable price.

Sam was absolutely spectacular in coordinating the reception for our wedding. She went through great lengths to ensure that all the details of the venue (Eden Oaks Ranch) exceeded the vision we had. Sam provided wonderful guidance to build out an appropriate timeline with flexibility for unexpected bumps in the road. She was also fantastic in providing us with shopping lists of supplies we would need to provide for a well-rounded bar selection, which would be enough for our guests to enjoy during the entire event. Sam made sure to coordinate all the vendors and staff like an orchestra, which allowed us to have a great time at our wedding. Overall, Sam has several years of experience in the wedding planning/coordinating industry and she really brought her A-game to show it. Detailed, organized, friendly, and just an overall wonderful human being. We hired Karen for 2-month coordination and right off the bat, she was such a thoughtful planner and her willingness to guide us through anything and everything was amazing. I love a good spreadsheet and Karen has the best!!! Every meeting with her was so productive and we left each one with clear next steps/homework. The day of the wedding, everything went SO smoothly. Karen and her team took care of setting up all of our decor and they did so beautifully! When I arrived to the venue and saw everything, I was taken aback by how stunning everything looked — we had a mix of florals, candles, and fruit for our decor so getting everything set up was no small feat. Karen’s creative eye flawlessly brought my vision to life and I am so so grateful! Outside of decor, Karen’s organization, vendor communication, and speedy cleanup at the end of night was top-notch. We were able to truly enjoy the night, knowing Karen was there. She even took fun videos of the reception on my phone, which were great to watch the morning after to help relive the night :’) Literally each one of my vendors raved about how much they loved working with Karen — if that’s not enough to convince you to hire her for your next event, idk what is! Elizabeth is such a wonderful planner! The communication was so good from booking to the big day. She made everything go so smoothly. On our wedding day she took good care of us. Brought us food, water, desserts. Our venue was big and she would walk back and forth from the girls to the guys down a hill then back up a hill.
