Shannon and her team were amazing to work with. Firstly our wedding was somewhat last-minute, and thankfully there was a cancellation that allowed us to work with Citrus City Events. The planning process was super well organized and Shannon brought so many great fresh ideas to our pre-existing vision, while simultaneously incorporating and up-leveling ideas we brought to the table. The vendor connections including everything from furniture, to bar service, DJs and more were perfect for our event and we would never have been able to find services anywhere near the level of quality she brought without her help. The food, (shoutout James Madison Catering) was especially amazing and had all of our guests raving. Communication was also outstanding, always answering all of our questions super quickly and providing the needed reminders, assurances and recommendations to keep the planning process on track. Fast forward to day-of management and Shannon and her team were beyond professional, and kept the day running smoothly. Our wedding was an amazing unforgettable event for us and our guests, thanks to Citrus City Events!

Bianca and her whole team delivered (and then some) on our vision for our wedding. Bianca’s focus is design, and that was reflected in each careful presentation she brought to us for our review in the lead up to our wedding, including florals, stationary and table settings, each of which reflected exactly what we were thinking. She captured our vibe perfectly - she had clearly listened to every thought and dream we shared with her about the wedding. She also made us feel confident that our day would go off without a hitch (and it did go off without a single hitch!). She was able to quickly change course and get creative when we found out the day before that it would be too hot to hold our wedding outdoors. She re-arranged everything and was able to create a beautiful ceremony space indoors in less than 24 hours. Danny also served as our DJ for our wedding and he was incredible - our guests were dancing all night long, which is exactly what we wanted. We can’t thank Bianca and her team enough, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Desert Vibes for any future event. They were amazing!

We worked with Patty as our wedding coordinator. Patty excelled at finding vendors that met our specific guidelines and was very cost-effective, which was a big help during the planning process. However, we did have some concerns with her approach to vendor communication. She often relied on the bride to handle communication difficulties with vendors, rather than taking the lead herself. This caused some unnecessary stress. We would have liked Patty to be more hands-on in providing design ideas. Fortunately, our on-site wedding venue coordinator was fantastic and kept everything running smoothly on the day. However, we were disappointed that wedding party members were asked to handle tasks that should have been managed by Patty. Our biggest concern was that the marriage certificate was left behind. Ensuring the certificate is on-site should have been a top priority for the coordinator, either the morning of the wedding or at the rehearsal. Overall, while Patty had strengths in certain areas, there were aspects of her service that fell short of our expectations.

I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

She quickly understood our vision for our wedding and what was important to us. She encouraged us to make it very personal and unique--she never shot down any weird ideas we might've had but also brought an experienced perspective, while also keeping us on track with all of the little details and scheduling. She was so well-organized and professional while also keeping things stress-free, light, and fun. There were no questions too big, too small, or too personal with all the drama that can come with such a big event. Miranda was easy to reach via text/email, and took the initiative to reach out and schedule check-ins when needed to make sure we stayed on track with the huge to-do list that comes with a wedding. Her vendor recommendations & other suggestions were awesome, but she also respected a couple of the areas where we found our own vendors with no questions asked. She truly helped us get every detail settled, down to the napkins and our catering order details. She took all the stress off once we got to the month of and leading up to the wedding day, confirming with our vendors so we didn't have to worry about it whatsoever. Our wedding day went seamlessly thanks to her--it sounds cliche but it was the most fun and beautiful day ever and we were able to really enjoy it thanks to Miranda. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the SD area! I could fill the entire Pacific Ocean with compliments for Michelle and her team. Michelle was part of our planning process for nearly 2.5 years (thanks 2020). Despite endless uncertainties, Michelle was always patient, kind, understanding, and optimistic while realistic. We always felt we could trust Michelle no matter the issue - which is the most important when choosing your vendors. Not only does she have a great eye for design, she is meticulous and detail oriented. She provided all the organization and design resources we needed and truly understood our vision. A huge plus is that she is well attuned to East Asian traditions and can speak to guests who do not understand English. There were so many details we would have missed had it not been for Michelle. Even though our bridal party and family only had short interactions with Michelle on the wedding day, they all commented and were so impressed by her level of organization, positive attitude, and constant smile. When the weather prediction showed 70% chance of rain on our wedding the entire week leading up to it, Michelle worked hard even at late hours to ensure we had a backup plan that fit our vision and communicated with our vendors for options. Not only so, she paid for an hourly weather app to see if it would stop raining by our ceremony time. By some miracle, the rain cleared. When we needed extra rentals at the last minute, Michelle went out of her way to help us pick them up and received packages for us since we were out of town. We never expected any vendor to do this for us. These are just a few examples of the numerous times she went above and beyond. Although she juggles many events, she always makes you feel like you are the top priority. Michelle will treat your wedding like her own with the full attention it deserves. Our day was perfect, all thanks to the Somni Events team!

We cannot recommend Jackie enough! Jackie was essential in our wedding planning and coordination. She was extremely responsive, organized and proactive. They set-up my ballroom, beautifully drapped my arch, and aisle chairs just as I dreamed. She and her team were with us until the end. One of the best things we did for this wedding was getting Brandi on board. She's the epitome of small sacrifice BIG, BIG reward. She shows amd makes you feel that coordinating your wedding is her true passion and service. We loved her so much, we referred her to another friend and now her team will be at that wedding!
