I started my career in the corporate world, taking on various roles in marketing, event planning, project management and business operations. Creating MHE is my way of combining all those experiences into one job that I’m truly passionate about. I love every part of the planning process, from the tiniest details to the biggest moments. My goal is to bring your vision to life and create unforgettable memories that reflect your unique love story.

This package is for the couple that wants help from start to finish. I will take care of everything from ideation and design to venue and vendor selection. This package is designed to provide all of the assistance and guidance needed to ensure your wedding day is everything you've dreamed of and more.

Designed to assist you midway through the planning process, this package allows you to continue to make the big decisions while having a professional's assistance along the way. Let's work together to bring your vision and event design to life while securing the remaining vendors needed for your big day.

You've done almost everything but need someone to help finalize every detail, flawlessly execute your vision and handle the logistics surrounding your wedding weekend. I'll begin working with you 6 weeks before your wedding day to create your day-of timeline and manage communication with your team of vendors. When the big day arrives, all you'll have to do is relax with your loved ones and savor every magical moment of the best. day. ever!

    Words will never be able to express our gratitude for Meagan in our wedding planning journey. From our first phone call, we knew she would be a perfect fit for us and match my own type-A energy. She went above and beyond to make sure that our vision truly came to life, including my excessive amount of personalized items and DIYs. There are several specific challenges to having your venue be a family members property, but Meagan bypassed all of them and fulfilled our needs with ease. She even helped manage the situation when our dog stole a block of cheese from the appetizer table! She is not only is a great person and a phenomenal wedding planner, but she also managed to capture my most favorite content from our day, our dog being the ring bearer! We were so lucky to have found her!

    Meagan Hilss Events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, her communication style was responsive, solution-oriented, proactive, attentive, and incredibly supportive. The quality of her work and value they provided was truly exceptional - she's detail-oriented, efficient, and executed our vision with such grace. Meagan ran the show, seamlessly managing every aspect from timelines to decor, and even negotiated a discount for our wedding cake when it arrived without a piping detail we had discussed. We never had to worry about a thing, as Meagan and her team kept all the other vendors on track while simultaneously taking the best care of us.     We chatted with a few planning/coordination vendors before finding Meagan, but when we chatted with Meagan we knew right away we needed to work with her! In the intro call she described herself as incredibly type-A and she had a super positive, encouraging energy. We thought we only wanted a coordinator, but went with her partial planning service too, and she seriously exceeded our expectations. We are a lesbian couple and we wanted our wedding’s vibe to be laid back with a come-as-you-are attitude while still being excellently put together. She found vendors that were experienced with and/or accommodating to lgbtq clients, she helped us with details that matched our vibe while not creating any additional stress over excess details. She lead vendor meetings and our two in-person planning meetings with great agendas. She was literally always available via text. She went out of her way to source advice on getting hair extensions because I mentioned getting my hair done was a source of anxiety. And! Her husband, who helps out with some execution, baked us a sourdough loaf!! I joked with my wife that, as someone who typically plans our trips for us and our friends and is in control of things, the only stress I felt on the day of the wedding was NOT being informed of any issues (surely there had to be some!). There was not a moment that went wrong or felt weird - we had the perfect day thanks to Meagan! TL;DR We would book Meagan over and over and over and over again.

    Being a part of Meagan’s wedding was a true testament to her incredible planning skills! As a guest, I was so impressed by her organization and meticulous attention to detail. Everything flowed seamlessly, and it was clear how much she cared about creating a memorable experience for everyone. From the unique custom drink glasses as party favors to the personal touch of having friends perform her and Mike’s dance song, Meagan thought of everything.
