We hired Lavender Crown Events for full planning. Michelle and Hannah were beneficial throughout our entire planning process providing advice and making suggestions to ensure our vendors and venue had the information they needed. They took care of tasks and worked with each vendor to ensure that we had a smooth wedding, and what a wedding it was! We felt so well taken care of throughout the entire process, and especially the few days up to and including our wedding day. We were so thankful to not have to worry about anything day-of and had a wedding making amazing memories! Michelle had a fantastic and detailed timeline and her expertise and know-how made it so our vendors had an easy time working with each other! We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.

We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

I had it in my head that I didn’t need a wedding coordinator because I’m super organized and actually enjoy the planning. 3 months before my wedding, I realized that not having a day of coordinator meant that I would spend my wedding day and days before coordinating rental deliveries and all the other vendors. Luckily I found Leanne and from my first conversation with her, I felt so relieved and excited to enjoy my big day and not stress. The day before my wedding, she even came to my house to help me put together our wedding favors. By the day of the wedding, I felt so comfortable having her think for me on my wedding day, I got to enjoy every second of the fastest day of my life. She managed every vendor, every rental, unruly family members and made our day perfect. She even returned a few of our rentals and helped our families load up flowers etc at the end of the night. Natalie and the team at Faye Fern Creative did all the planning and design work for me and my wife's wedding this past month, and they did a PHENOMENAL job. First off, I think communication is key when you're planning an event of this size and magnitude, and Natalie was incredibly easy to communicate with. She was always just a text or call away, and she never made me feel like she was rushing me if I had any questions or concerns or wanted to flesh out the details of a certain issue. She was always patient, level-headed, receptive to criticism, and willing to discuss any issue whatsoever. The communication overall pre-wedding was very on-point. Secondly, Natalie's talent for designing and creating a timeless beautiful aesthetic is second to none. Her taste is impeccable, she has an attention to detail that you will deeply respect, and she will help you create a cohesive design element that will have you and your guests blown away. From the ceremony design all the way down to the drapes and the cutlery, Natalie has a keen eye for creating a gorgeous yet comfortable/welcoming design. Everything she does is tasteful and creates that special atmosphere that makes a wedding so unforgettable and emotional. She will definitely help bring your vision to life, and if you're not really interested in coming up with a design element for your wedding or don't know much about it, just know that you're in amazing hands with Natalie. Lastly, I just want to comment on Natalie's work ethic and dedication. From the first call we had with her all the way to the end of the wedding, I could trust that Natalie and her team were doing EVERYTHING in their power to make our wedding weekend the most special few days possible. Natalie has a deep passion for the work she does, and she will work tirelessly to bring your vision to life. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together.
