WOW!!! I don't even know where to start with Tara Blackwell from Lotus Events. I first want to start by saying there would be absolutely no way we would have gotten through this time without her. Anytime I had a question (even 11 months out) she provided a quick response. As it got closer to the wedding, she made herself readily available to meet us or join us for meetings. This was extremely important since we were getting married outside of where we lived. I have been in many weddings who have wedding planners and Tara has hands down been the best. Even everyone in my wedding party, family, etc loved her and respected her. The way she can take charge and control of situations while still being calm and composed is amazing. It is exactly what a Bride needs on her wedding day. I think it is one of the main reasons I was able to remain so calm and still enjoy, even when our rehearsal was completely rained out and were unable to practice before the big day. I knew she had everything under control. I also cannot fail to mention how well she knew her stuff. There was not a question I asked where she did not have a well thought out and helpful answer. Also, another huge thing is my husband even loved her as much as I did. She was the perfect balance of both of us, so was able to communicate on both our levels which was great. Before the wedding, I felt completely at peace knowing that she was in charge and that she would execute everything exactly how I pictured it… or even better! She communicated with vendors, set up the ceremony and reception area, and got everybody where they needed to be without a hitch. I’ve had other brides tell me that when things went wrong, their coordinator went to them (the BRIDE) freaking out and making them super nervous. When we were faced with an issue, Paulina stayed cool, calm, and collected and we worked through it easily. The moment I saw everything set up, I was blown away at how our vision had come to life! I felt like I would be planning this wedding alone with my fiancé out of state, but it was the exact opposite, and I felt like I was supported by an entire team. The rental company couldn’t find the venue on wedding day and I never knew about it until, it was brought to my attention by a family member three months later. They handled everything professionally on wedding day and our guests were just raving about how hard you could see they were working for us. You need to hire Ashley Nicole Affairs!!!!

Simply Elegant Group was by far my favorite vendor! Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! Adaobi helped us manage the budget and find vendors that worked within our budget that still fulfilled our vision of the day. I have received over 1,000 images/videos in content, and still have even more coming! What’s crazy is half the time, we didn’t notice Katelyn there, but she still somehow captured every moment! I love that she wasn’t in our faces or constantly bothering us for photos/videos. This way, we were able to enjoy every aspect of our day! Katelyn truly embodied what being “behind the scenes” means! She was also always there when someone did want to ask for a photo, and always obliged, even when my mom was constantly asking her LOL. We got our raw footage back within 48 hours, and most of it after less than 24 hours. We are so grateful for Katelyn capturing all of our special moments!

Hiring Kristan as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made! I chose an a la carte kind of venue, which meant I had to source my own wedding caterer, décor, and design. When Kristan came into the picture, she helped everything run smoothly and even gave us many more ideas and recommendations to make our day so much more eventful and special! There were so many elements of my wedding and moving pieces that involved the help of friends and family, so it was inevitable that a small miscommunication between my mom and me led to missing table numbers and no bucket for our sparklers at the end of the night. However, Kristan was there and available to rescue us and she handled everything on the fly, easily smoothing out any hiccups without me, Connor, or my family and friends having to spend any time working to fix anything awry on our big day. She was a godsend! I was MOST excited about eating my wedding food, and we planned to eat before the ceremony, but the food was running behind! Kristan was so on top of things and quickly adjusted our schedule to get our food out to us within a good time! With all our planning and discussions in advance, she knew how important eating the food was to me. I'm telling y'all - I did NOT worry for a second, and I felt completely confident in Kristan's ability to care of everything. Boy did she deliver!! She also organized our rehearsal dinner, and we had so many compliments about how professional and put-together she was- she had her mic and speaker box, and it was clear she was in full control of the event! Beyond her incredible communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, Kristan has the most energetic and cheerful personality! She never made us feel bad for switching plans, changing ideas, or adjusting timelines- she rolled with it all seamlessly. That was such a huge relief, especially as someone who leans a bit more towards people-pleasing, to have someone that never made me feel bad about what I wanted and encouraged and rolled with all of my ideas with such genuine excitement! :) We love her, we've already recommended her to friends who are using her for their wedding, and we will continue to recommend her to anyone planning their big day!! When I'm not at a wedding, you can find me in the flower shop or doing some *light* retail therapy. I recently graduated from KSU with a B.S. in Hospitality & Event Management. When you think of your wedding, all you can hope for is nothing will go wrong, and if it does, it will be small. When you hire Brooklyn from Brooklyn Rain brides, you can rest assured that your day will be utter perfection. throughout the wedding planning process, Brooklyn was always there for me to reach out to and ask questions and give her professional suggestions. She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. My guests came to me after the ceremony and said it was the best ceremony they had ever seen and I couldnt agree more it had so much emotion, romance and pure magic sprinkled in and brooklyn was incredibly calm collected and well spoken capturing my husband and Is love story perfectly. I cannot recommend her services enough, not only can she officiate the most romantic ceremony ever She is also an incredible wedding coordinator and will make sure your wedding runs smoothly allowing you to have a stress free wedding day! I literally didn't have to handle a single thing on my wedding day because she was there to handle it all. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. Anyone who is engaged, I can't say it enough, you need a Brooklyn to help guide you in your wedding planning!

Dana and her team went above and beyond to ensure planning my out of state wedding was exactly what I envisioned! From the start of our planning period, up until the day of - Thyme & Detail made me feel loved and had the day running like well oiled machine. If any day-of issues would arise, this team was ON IT!
