Conceived by Andria design to replicate New York City’s revered Grand Central Station, The Astorian is a throwback to 1920’s glamour and Art Deco design. The venue offers a contemporary, multi-level facility equipped with 14-foot ceilings, a fully functional gourmet kitchen and bar, and floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of downtown Houston.

Bisong Art Gallery is a distinctive venue for local events in downtown Houston, Texas. The gallery is available to rent for various private events. Guests have held cocktail parties, receptions, team-building painting parties, book signings, and fundraisers to name a few. 1200sq-ft loft with exposed brick and concrete floors. The space offers a unique atmosphere for intimate events. The gallery can accommodate 60 guests cocktail-style standing (using indoor and patio).

Our experienced team will customize your food and beverage menus with our in-house caterer, A Fare Extraordinaire, provide service staff and rentals, create event timelines and diagrams, and coordinate audio/visual, valet, and security. This Fall the Astorian proudly debuts Le Tesserae, a 20,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor private event space and rooftop bar overlooking Buffalo Bayou. Guests will be greeted by a stunning reception lobby, extensively detailed with a hand-laid mosaic floor and crown-molded ceiling, before entering the spacious ballroom, enveloped by floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing patrons to seamlessly flow between inside and outside settings. The venue design blends old-world artistry with modern architecture and incorporates natural and urban elements, from its wraparound balcony and covered patio to its unobstructed views of downtown Houston. Le Tesserae can comfortably accommodate a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, social gatherings and proprietary programming. Adjacent is a 5,000 square foot rooftop bar perfect for small group gatherings, happy hours, after-parties and outdoor private events.

In May of 1914 Houston real estate investor and industrialist George H. Hermann announced publicly his intention of deeding to the City of Houston 285 acres of this property for a municipal park across the street from the Rice Institute and thus Hermann Park was born. A century later, Hermann Park is 445-acres of beautiful green space and is visited by an estimated 6 million people per year.

Our 11,000 sq. ft. space features urban and industrial design elements, including exposed whitewash brick walls and floor to ceiling black steel windows, along with coastal-influenced décor elegantly laid out with various accents and shades of our signature green logo color. Palm trees scattered throughout the restaurant help to create the clean, bright and casual atmosphere. As soon as guests walk up the stairs, they enter our bar area featuring a large, oval-shaped white stone bar with 36 seats and tufted, velvet banquet booths. The main dining room, which has a mixture of tables and banquettes, includes a floor to ceiling mural by famed New York graffiti artist, CES, that is sure to be a popular photo op for diners. Guests also have the choice to dine al fresco on the 1,040 sq. ft. patio offering exclusive views of the tree-lined Post Oak Boulevard.

The Houston-based restaurateur's most recent concept, NoPo Café, Market & Bar, will be an all-day concept serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a market designed to provide staples to nearby residents. Located at 1244 North Post Oak Rd., NoPo's menu features a variety of egg dishes, pastries and juices for breakfast; lunch options of soup, sandwiches, salads and pizza; and dinner options of salads, appetizers and an array of fish, chicken, pork and steak entrées.
