About this venue

Willowynn Barn is located in the small town of Santa Fe Texas, 25 miles from Galveston and 30 miles south of Houston Texas. Our farmhouse wedding and event venue holds up to 250 guests and is located on 18 acres of private property with a chapel and many other outdoor ceremony sites to choose from. The Barn has an all white interior with a beautifully designed bridal suite and an amazing grooms room, each having their own private garden areas to enjoy. The Barn also has a full catering kitchen, a veranda for cocktail hour and we even have a on-site shot donkey to entertain your guests!!

Willowynn Barn was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. They responded quickly to our initial inquiry, which put us at ease during the planning process. The seating arrangement was very flexible and we were able to easily adjust it to suit our needs using their online editor, though there was a bit of a learning curve. We loved the rustic vibe of the space with modern touch of the chandelier style. Willowynn Barn also went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went smoothly - they made sure the wedding party was fed during the transition between the ceremony and reception, and had police supervision to keep the venue safe. The appearance of a friendly donkey for guests to take photos with was an added bonus that our guests raved about. Overall, we highly recommend Willowynn Barn for any couple looking for a beautiful, accommodating, and well-run wedding venue.

Willowynn was the first and only venue I had to visit. I was sold the minute I stepped foot on the venue. It is such a magical place with beautiful views at any time of the year. When I booked the venue the atrium hadn’t even been built yet, I was simply sold on the vision of what it could be. The venue was so beautiful on the day of, my guests had all their jaws on the floor. When you step into the reception hall you cannot help but feel a sense of awe because it is just such a gorgeous place with high ceilings and natural lighting coming from everywhere. Do not skip out on making use of the atrium for photos! The bridal suite brought all my princess dreams to life of course but my husband also was treated like a king because they actually have a groom’s suite. Yes, you heard me they do not shove their men into a coat closet. It is a whole suite for the men to hang out and it is decadent. However, Willowynn is so much more than just a beautiful venue it is the people that really make it. Everyone who works there really makes you feel like family when you arrive. They could make anything happen without you having finished speaking it out loud. The night before when we had dropped off our stuff for the venue it was late and we wanted to just go anywhere for dinner but Alisha got on the phone and made a dinner reservation for 15 people before we could even bat an eye. I forgot a speaker for getting ready and magically one was already plugged in the bridal suite. I don’t think a bride could even try to be stressed at Willowynn. Trust me, I tried to stress. It was just impossible when you have such a professional staff buzzing around making literal dreams come true. The whole planning process was so simple, at any point when I had a question I could reach out and have it answered. I also highly recommend that you use all their friendors. When you put together a team of people that are used to working together you will not have to answer any questions because they all just simply work so well together. I could not have made a better decision than to have picked Willowynn. You also cannot have a wedding with Willie because he truly is the star of the show, we were just opening acts!

We can comfortably accommodate up to 200 seated guests in our climate-controlled space depending on the layout of your event and tables and dance floor space. We can provide seating charts based on your preferences.

Yes. Bartender(s) must be hired from our approved bar service, Tipsy Cowgirls. Clients can bring their own alcohol a week prior to event (inventoried and stored) and all leftover alcohol must remain until the week after the event to be returned and ready for pick up the Monday following the event. It will be inventoried and locked in storage. Safety is our top priority.

Full use of barn and 18-acre property, from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, including tables and chairs. Please refer to the list of amenities or email if you have a specific request.

Sparklers are permitted upon bride and groom's departure. Fireworks must be preapproved by the owner or manager. Client must hire an insured, professional pyrotechnic (approved by owner or manager)

Yes. A 1 hour rehearsal time the day before the event is included. If there is another date the day before, The Barn will work with clients to schedule a time. Rehearsal dinner time can be purchased separately.

1-day insurance policy (required), security guards, $1,000 refundable damage deposit, and towing of vehicles not picked up by 10:00 am the morning following your event. Also, you are responsible for payment to your own vendors.

Yes, we now have an open-air chapel! Willowynn Barn also has a beautiful outdoor ceremony site with giant oak trees and a few different scenic locations near our pond and around the property.

Our bridal suite includes 5 station vanities, a bar area and a beautiful walk in shower. The grooms room has a large bathroom to change in and has a cigar lounge feel. Both suites have private garden areas, luxurious seating areas, TV & sound systems, and small bar areas with a mini fridge. Also, the grooms room will convert into a child care area after the ceremony begins. On-site nanny will be available for hire. We encourage you to come out and tour the venue prior to booking.

es, bridal portraits and engagement photography sessions can be prearranged and taken on site with our barns, animals and vintage vehicles. Please schedule in advance.

We want our guests to make the event experience unique and all your own, so any vendor you want to use is acceptable with them having liability insurance. Bartenders must be from Tipsy Cowgirls. We will need to know your vendors beforehand to allow them access to the property and arrange for proper insurance. We can also provide a list of local vendors or make recommendations based on our experience.
