When I was about 10 years old, my dad gave me a camera and I quickly became obsessed. My intrigue continued to grow over the years and I went on to earn my BA in Studio Art , Photography, from the University of Virginia. “After friends shared a photo of my then fiance and me at their own wedding, we hired the photographer who took it. This was Nina! That one photo inspired us to review the gallery of their entire wedding and then her portfolio and we were blown away. 7 months later our own wedding day arrived. My husband and I are the type of people who are wildly present and constantly forget to take photographs of our life together. We knew we wanted to capture this day without the photography becoming a chore or hindering our ability to do what we do best and enjoy our time. Nina was able to provide just that and was incredible (as was the second photographer she worked with for our big day). Nina seamlessly handled all the chaotic moments and pre-ceremony stress of the very emotional bride (me) in stride! With very little direction she navigated all aspects of a wedding day with absolute poise and grace. I cannot thank her enough for taking on such leadership and just GETTING IT DONE! “Our original DJ had a family emergency and I reached out to Jeremy one week before our wedding. He was somehow available which was the greatest miracle of our wedding. We were so stressed and he immediately calmed us down and ended the call with "let's have a wedding!" Given the timing, we didn't have time for another call before the day. He had a comprehensive questionnaire that covered every situation we wanted a specific song for (including our cake cutting song) so another call was not needed and he did everything perfectly. He is extremely adaptable and stepped in so many times without needing to be asked (helping corral people for pictures). He followed every song we wanted (and didn't want), but also was able to nail the vibe when given vague directions (chill love songs during our cocktail hour). The best part was when we opened up the dance floor, my Fitbit logged me as doing "sport" for 2 hours straight at one point and I did over 10,000 steps just from dancing. He kept people dancing and people loved it, my wife and I both had multiple people tell us our wedding was the one of the best they had been to BECAUSE of the DJ. My favorite part was he genuinely loves what he does, you could see the joy on his face when he made a great transition between songs and that energy was infectious. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely organized, professional, and fun. Jeremy, thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!”

“Like many Spring 2020 couples, we postponed our May celebration due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Since we didn't want to wait to be husband and wife, we planned a micro-wedding in our backyard for ourselves and parents. We were originally bare-boned with our planning, and I wasn't even going to book a photographer. After reconsidering, luckily Cesario Mendez was available to capture this beautiful celebration! We cannot say enough good things about Cesario: he arrived prepared with a detailed shot list; he was extremely professional; and he was so fun to work with. He had the great idea to pose us on our motorcycle for a few shots! Those pictures were a lovely unexpected bonus in our finished photos.By far our favorite photos were the candid shots Cesario captured during our ceremony. His timing is impeccable--he caught all of the best moments and our reactions. We are so happy we are able to remember our joy, excitement, and happy tears by looking at his photos for years to come. I knew he would use his creativity to commemorate our mini-mony with such authenticity and energy. We decided to do an IG reel and a longer video. When Desmond sent over the IG reel it carried such energy… by the end of it we were clapping as if we just watched a great movie! He truly delivered and in such a timely fashion. Our longer video is on its way, but will be delivered weeks in advance. Absolutely no regrets hiring Fine Art! “Lissa and her team was absolutely wonderful from the initial contact up to the end of our wedding day! She had such a quick response time, usually within a day, or a couple hours, and sometimes even sooner! We were able to clearly communicate our vision and she brought it to life with skill and professionalism. She also did a stellar job at the end of our getting ready session when my matron of honor still needed to get her hair done and we were running behind to get picked up. We had a late morning wedding with a late afternoon reception and everything held up for all 4 of us through the ceremony, pictures, and dancing. “"When you look back at these photos years from now, what do you want to feel?" was the question that Lindsay asked my then-fiancée and me when we first met to talk about wedding photography. We said that we wanted to be transported back to that moment, and remember what it felt like being there on that day. Looking at the photos now, this is EXACTLY what Lindsay and her husband/co-photographer Greg delivered. Lindsay's photos go so far beyond just documenting what happened - they capture the joy, the emotion, the tears, the excitement. Using some kind of camera magic, she captures the cozy mood lighting of our venue exactly as it felt, the sparkle of the lights and the dark wood of the bar, no overexposed flashes or dimness at all. Our formal photos are serene and gorgeous, our dancing photos are chaotic and full of light and energy. I don't know how she caught it all, because I hardly remember seeing her on the day, but she managed to capture even the little accidental unscripted moments that might have otherwise been lost to time.
