About this venue
District Winery hosts full-service weddings for up to 200 guests. The first working winery in Washington, DC, District Winery is located in Navy Yard along the Anacostia River. Our modern, sophisticated, waterfront wedding venue with floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace, and sweeping river views is the ideal venue for your wedding. District Winery include our highly regarded wedding cuisine and wines made onsite. Executive Chef Christian Fischhuber brings years of international culinary expertise to our venue, as he oversees every detail of your menu. Couples work with a District Winery event manager who will assist with all of the details, from helping curate the perfect menu to coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless execution. All District Winery weddings are turnkey and include the use of our custom walnut tables, chairs, high top tables, bar stools, marble topped bars, china, glassware, flatware, linen napkins, printed menus, table top items to enhance your decor.

The Perfect Hawaiian-Themed Wedding
District Winery is a gorgeous venue. The space is open and welcoming. The location adjacent to the river is outstanding. The wine is delicious. The food is unbelievable. Most importantly, the staff are kind, welcoming, supportive and flexible. Our team made it happen. Everyone told me that no wedding day is perfect. Ours was. And much of that credit goes to our team - led by Rhe - at District Winery.
Flawless!
We had our wedding at DW on September 1, and it was truly flawless. DW is such a well oiled machine and the night went incredibly smooth. It was such a pleasure to work with Latoria, Chloe, and Tori throughout the planning process. We had about 150 people with a band and it was the perfect fit. The room was STUNNING and the team was super accommodating with last minute changes and a huge wrench thrown our way on the big day. No one even flinched and they adapted beautifully. SO sad it's over and I wish we could do it again!!
Fantastic wedding venue
We had a wonderful experience with using District Winery as the venue for our wedding in July 2024. Our event manager Kat was kind, calm, and professional, and she helped everything run so smoothly. We got so many compliments on the venue from guests, with many people praising the food and the view of the Anacostia River from the terrace. We would definitely recommend District Winery as a venue. And we can't wait to return for drinks or dinner and get a discount as VIP customers.
Beautiful venue!
We loved having our wedding at District Winery! While they have event planners, they won't really come into play until 3 months before your wedding, after you already have made many decisions. I would recommend asking any and all questions before that time. The space is beautiful and I am so happy with how the day went. The only really problem was that our menus were printed with the wrong date. For the money we paid I really did not expect something like that to happen. We were also told we would be able to choose our wines and they don't tell you until the tasting that the wines are already chosen. Again for the money we paid, this was disappointing. We found a work around so that I could have wine I liked, but I don't think that should have had to happen. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I was very happy with District Winery and our wedding!
