“Allen was awesome. When Grace and I first had our online call with him, he was very thorough and organized. “Josh and his team at Buxton Media Productions were a great company to work with from start to finish of our wedding. Josh was a great communicator and really understood from the beginning what we were wanting. Josh was also very helpful with timeline for the day and had great suggestions. “We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of coordinator. I found this system to be not great, since the day of coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget. Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use. The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food. Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.”

We used Wendy for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and in each case she was incredibly flexible and her work was amazing. “I’ll preface by saying this is my second marriage and can compare my experience with to my first wedding. Catering By Uptown was fantastic from the beginning. They have excellent responsiveness, attention to detail and the food is amazing. Everything we wanted on our wedding day was accomplished. The only slight frustration I experienced was not having contact with our specific day of coordinator until the week of the wedding. But that didn’t even end up being an issue because, as I mentioned, everything was perfect. They’re so flexible and easy to work with. Though I wasn’t communicating with the same person every time I had questions, their internal communication was so strong and efficient that it seemed like I was talking the the same person. I can’t recommend them enough.”

After canceling our wedding 2 times due to Covid, Matt & I discussed the possibility of eloping to Jackson Hole, WY. I knew that Bob & Jamie have visited there enough to claim it as their 2nd home (lol) so I reached out for some advice/recommendations regarding the area & eloping. They not only offered a ton of knowledge about Jackson, they said they were available to travel and shoot our wedding. We booked them right away!!! They helped Matt & I EVERY step of the way. I said I wanted to be married inside in front of a large stone fireplace and have pictures taken outside with the snow covered mountains afterwards. They immediately went to work searching for hotels with stone fireplaces & locations (yes, multiple) for scenic wedding photos. Once those decisions were made, they helped select a restaurant for wedding dinner and plan our excursions. Bob even offered to be the tour guide for our snowmobile trip to Granite Hot Springs. These two went way above and beyond wedding photographers! Our wedding day was truly a dream come true (Hallmark movie worthy) and I can’t thank Jamie enough for capturing every part of it. She left no stone unturned. When we received the preview pics, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. The photos were even better than I had hoped. She made us look like we were on a magazine cover!
