Peña & Co. grew from a love of weddings and bringing order to so many moving pieces and parts. I was part of a wedding that didn't have everything planned out, and I saw how that affected the Bride & Groom and knew then that the details help create unity and peace. My aim is for you to have joy and peace in your day and to truly enjoy each second. I have been coordinating and planning for 4 years, served over 40 couples, and was trained in the south in both Greenville and Charleston, SC. I have loved mixing Southern comfort with DC splendor since I moved to DC in 2023. I can't wait to celebrate you every step of the way!

Description	Full Planning includes everything from the elaborate design down to the intricate details - we will be with you every step of the way. This is perfect whether you don't have the time to devote to wedding planning or want us to handle the details for you. We will plan all design aspects of the wedding and procure all of your vendors. If you haven't found your venue yet, we would be glad to help you in that search!	We call our partial planning Event Management & Design - we plan all of the design aspects along with coordinating your wedding and overseeing every detail from the wedding management package. We will create your design board, procure your design vendors (florist, rentals, etc.), and ensure a cohesive event. This package comes with monthly check-ins and hands-on support throughout all of the planning!	Do you feel like you're looking for something that you haven't been able to find yet? Let us meet you where you are! We can jump in and take over whatever vendors you haven't booked yet and continue in the design process. This is sometimes called partial planning, and tends to be a package between our management & design package with our full planning package. Package creation typically begins at $4,750, but will be based on your needs.	We love to help you finalize all of the details for the big day and take over all of the stressful details to give you the time you need to focus on enjoying those sweet moments before you're married. While I am available through email throughout your planning process, we begin our 3 meetings 6-8 weeks out from your wedding and I take over everything for you at that point.

Emily is everything you could want in a wedding coordinator. She is organized, proactive, calm, cool, and collected, thoughtful, kind, professional, communicative… I could truly go on. Emily basically kept us afloat during the last month of wedding planning - it actually felt like we could catch a much needed breath, because everything we thought to do, she had already taken care of. Leading up to the wedding, meetings were productive, but also fun and relaxed. On the day of, Emily and her team were there every step of the way to support us and execute our vision perfectly. I can't even count how many times we said "Thank God we have Emily" during our wedding planning process. Emily and her team went above and beyond in so many ways to make our engagement season and wedding day as smooth and enjoyable as possible for both us and our families. I can't imagine what we would've done without her and her team; Peña & Co was everything we wanted in a wedding planner and more. Our planning process begins as soon as you inquire! We'll get back to you within 24 hours to schedule a Meet & Greet so we can hear about all of the details of your wedding day and see if we're a good fit. After the call, we'll send you a personalized proposal and contract to sign. After signing, you will fill out our Intake Questionnaire and we'll set you up with a planning portal, checklist and welcome packet. At this time we will also schedule our Kick-off Call to go over what planning will look like and hear all of your wedding details. After the first call, the steps will depend on your package!

While we do require that you book all professional vendors and don't have any DIY elements (other than signs and small details), we do not require a minimum budget. To get the most out of our services for Event Management & Design and Full Planning, we recommend that you have an overall wedding budget of $500+ per guest. (Ex: If you have 100 people at your wedding, your overall wedding budget would be $50,000+). This ensures we can book awesome vendors that will bring to life our ideas and ensure you are properly allocating your funds! We would be happy to talk through your budget and see which service makes the most sense.

Out of those options, we only offer wedding management (also known as month-of coordination), as we want to be best prepared to show up on your day knowing all vendors, times, and details. We see this best done by having a few meetings together before the wedding and having a site visit so we feel confident knowing exactly what you want and envision for your wedding day! Therefore, we call this wedding management.

As we are located in DC, we primarily serve the DC metro area and the DMV. We do offer zero travel fees to couples getting married in Charleston or Lancaster, PA! There are small travel fees for weddings over 60 miles out of DC.

We only serve one couple per weekend to ensure you have our full attention and time!
