Avoid Poppy Flowers at all costs. From the beginning, their communication style was extremely unprofessional and pushy. They showed no interest in understanding our vision or personal preferences for the wedding flowers. The quality of their work w is subpar. They do not deserve your business - go with a local florist.

I had the pleasure of working with Poppy Flowers for my wedding. I was a little nervous at first to use a third-party instead of a local florist but it turned out amazing! It kept the cost in budget while allowing Poppy to handle all the small details to bring my vision to life without me needing to be involved as much (which as a bride is so helpful). They were timely in their communication during each stage of the process and gave feedback based on my specific venue to help with my order. For my wedding, I had a specific flower in mind that was not readily available, but Jenny went the extra mile to source it from a local flower farm and incorporate it into my bridal bouquet. I would highly recommend Poppy Flowers to any couple looking for a reliable and talented wedding florist.

  • Mixed feelings - but they do good work!

I have mixed feelings about Poppy! I liked how they took the legwork out of finding a florist and my initial thought was that I could save a few bucks. I ended up hiring them to do our personal florals and a few “cloud” arrangements for the altar/ceremony. I didn’t actually meet the florist, though her work was lovely! My bouquet was gorgeous! It was perfect!! But I found the bridesmaids bouquets, clouds and corsages to be a little lackluster to be honest. Working with Poppy isn’t really a “personal” experience - you submit a Pinterest board and your floral consultant finds pics that match your requests. If they don’t have one to match, they’ll use your inspo pic but I found that to come with a price jump. Like I mentioned, you don’t get to meet or talk to the florist who will be making the arrangements so if that’s important to you (which I realized for me, it was), then Poppy might not be for you. I realized I wanted to actually pick the flowers out myself and felt there was a little disconnect between their database photos and what I envisioned. Then it started to feel like every move I made bumped the price up….which I learned is typical of the wedding industry but, I digress. I initially thought Poppy wouldn’t be as expensive as it ended up being for what we got. But it adds up really quickly. To save a TON of money, we ended up DIY-ing our centerpieces, cake display, flower crowns, to save a few bucks (through Flower Moxie) and surprisingly loved them more than the florists I invited some guests/bridal party to help make them and it ended up being a highlight of our wedding week - sidenote! Anyway - to sum up, if you have a healthy budget for florals and aren’t picky (I didn’t think I was but realized I am!) I’d recommend Poppy.

Poppy put together the my bouquet and the boutineeres from the groomsmen and aisle markers. The flowers were beautiful but I was a bit underwhelmed with the final product. I had wanted a much larger bouquet and compared to what I received it was beautiful but not what I was truly expecting.
