I've spent the past 15+ years offering my musical knowledge to events all over the world. That experience translates to DJing weddings and events so seamlessly, from being able to read crowds and deliver exactly what you and your guests want, to managing logistics from the DJ booth in an effortless manner. Whether you want a folk-laden cocktail hour, a classic dinner playlist, or a modern dance party, let me be the one to provide the soundtrack to the most important day of your life!
I've studied music, taught music and recorded music so I have a great sense of mixing and matching genres together to be able to fit all requests without a reception being jarring or throwing off the flow.

Four (4) hours of reception music (dinner + dancing). You wouldn't be charged for any travel, setup, breakdown, extra equipment rental or any of the logistics I'd handle from my end. Just from when I start playing music to when I stop playing music.
Cocktail Hour + Reception Package

Five (5) hours of music (cocktail hour + dinner + dancing). You wouldn't be charged for any travel, setup, breakdown, extra equipment rental or any of the logistics I'd handle from my end. Just from when I start playing music to when I stop playing music. Includes multiple PA systems

Absolutely awesome
JVMMS Events was the perfect DJ for our wedding day. From our very first interaction, communication was professional, easy, friendly, and smooth. They listened closely to our preferences and gave us exactly what we wanted and more. On the day of the wedding, JVMMS kept the dance floor bumping with an awesome selection that had all our guests dancing the night away. We recommend JVMMS without hesitation; his service and perfect execution made our special day even more incredible.
JVMMS is the best wedding DJ, hands down
I've been going to weddings that Jeremy has DJed at for over a decade, and so deciding to hire him for our wedding was one of the first, easiest, and no-brainer-est vendor decisions we made. The entire night was smooth, and the two straight hours of dancing that closed the night were exactly what we asked for. Transitions: peak. Song choice: perfect. Surprises: epic. Hire Jeremy, you will not regret it.

Jeremy was absolutely phenomenal to work with. We had some pretty specific requests alongside several different voices directing our day, and he was effortlessly able to read the room and navigate through all of it, all the while providing banger after banger to keep us all dancing the night away. We may be biased about our own night, but coming from a fellow musician, Jeremy understood how to control the ebb and flow of the evening better than any DJ we've ever experienced at a wedding. Our other musician friends in attendance also definitely noticed. Highly recommend!
Best DJ you will find in the VA area
I will recommend JVMMS Events/OneManJamz every single time someone needs a DJ. It was our absolute pleasure to work with Jeremy for our wedding day and I don’t know how, but we’re going to find a reason to work with him again as soon as we can. From our very first meeting, Jeremy was so personable, with clear, confident, and detailed communication that put us at ease (and as an anxious bride I needed this big time). Jeremy went above and beyond, answering countless questions to help ease my pre-wedding anxiety, and made sure that every song we specifically requested (i.e., ceremony, introduction, first dance, etc) and executed them flawlessly. Let me TELL YOU, the reception music? I swear to you, I looked to Jeremy, my husband, and several guests at least 100 times throughout the night and expressed some form of “I CANT BELIEVE HOW GOOD THIS IS” I mean the way this man mixed popular, fun songs together that I would not have expected to work so magically….. I was hoping for most of our guests to dance all night but I was shocked at how many people (young and old) were on the dance floor all night long. It was our dream come true, honestly. I’m still shaken, and we got married almost 5 weeks ago. We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Jeremy and for his part in making our best day truly unforgettable.
