Michelle was our canine coordinator on our wedding day and she took care of our dog and made it possible for him to be a part of our wedding celebration. Michelle did a meet and greet with our dog and you can immediately see her love for dogs and also her experience working with them. Our shiba is a stubborn boy who can tune others out when he’s curious, but Michelle was able to get his attention when needed. She also took him back to our hotel and fed him and we were able to enjoy our reception without having to worry about who was taking care of our dog. If you are interested in having your pup involved in your wedding, I highly recommend Michelle. We had a worry free experience with her around because we knew our dog was in good hands. Another perk of having a canine coordinator like Michelle is that you know your dog is being handled by a professional and that none of your guests would have to step away and miss out on any part of your wedding should your dog get restless during your ceremony, etc. Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding :) Thank you, Michelle!

Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! When people ask us for wedding planning advice, we always say that hiring a planner was the best decision we made - specifically Oso Events! They are truly the best at what they do :) We could not be more grateful to them!

We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

I literally could not have gotten through my wedding without Kaci. She is absolutely fantastic. She is super organized, always cool as a cucumber, very experienced with all the moving pieces of event planning (which I absolutely was not), and just a truly wonderful human who my husband and I were delighted to have with us on our special day. It's so rare to find someone willing to do day-of wedding planning (instead of month-of or full service planning, which quickly becomes extremely costly and was more service than I wanted). I have heard it is difficult for coordinators to come in "day of" to a brand new venue, so they prefer to only offer more involved packages and/or only at venues they work with regularly. But Kaci crushed it at my venue (Brazilian Room in Berkeley) even though it was her first time there. She was extremely reasonably priced and honestly for the service we got, we easily would have paid 3x as much. Think no more and HIRE HER!

I have an autistic nephew that is extremely sensitive to sound and large crowds. He does not enjoy any sort of attention on him and typically retreats when he is too overwhelmed. Leanne someone conjured up some magic to got my nephew down the aisle successfully. (We have the most precious photo of him walking and my sister crying happy tears in the background that we will cherish forever.) While I was getting ready on my wedding day, I heard him run into the room looking for her so that he could share a picture he had drawn for her. When Leanne made it in to check on me and my Bridesmaids, he was overjoyed with emotions to see her. This is extremely out of the ordinary for him as he has a hard time connecting with strangers. Leanne go down on her knees to be eye level with him and even asked for his autograph! What a gem! Later in the evening, I caught her on the dance floor with him and she even brought him a cupcake because he was too nervous to approach the table on his own. We couldn't have been happier by hiring Leanne and have continued a connection, months after our wedding. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together.
