She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. My guests came to me after the ceremony and said it was the best ceremony they had ever seen and I couldnt agree more it had so much emotion, romance and pure magic sprinkled in and brooklyn was incredibly calm collected and well spoken capturing my husband and Is love story perfectly. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. If you want to make your wedding planning even a fraction easier, hire Calmerin. We got their Jade package and even though that’s their smallest package it was so so helpful. We talked with Glennie and Amanda to talk over big picture stuff, get recommendations for other vendors, etc. and then the first time I met them was for the venue walkthrough. They’re the professionals and so they brought so many excellent questions for us and for the venue. It really helped us know what we still needed to figure out and prepare for the big day. Then, for the rehearsal/walkthrough and the big day, they were there every step of the way to help get the whole timeline sorted out. Both Amanda and Glennie were so kind and professional; they helped the whole day run so smoothly. The last thing, but really SO important and crucial: they helped with the breakdown and packing everything up. While we were all dancing on the dance floor and having a blast, they were helping to gather up everything and get the venue set back as it needed to be by the end of the night. It was such a weight off our shoulders for them to just handle all of that. They were always on top of everything and it was all so wonderful. Hire Calmerin for your wedding, and breathe a sigh of relief that you have them on your team because now it will surely be a beautiful day. Thanks Glennie and Amanda for everything! Her calm nature, professional and fun staff and her deep understanding of how to organize a wedding truly was apparent from the moment we hired her. She knows what to spend her time on, calms you down when you are freaking out about the little things, politely ushers you to the next event to keep the day on schedule. I never felt rushed, stressed, or worried about anything the entire day. She just handles it and everything happens in the background. I also had her do my floral arrangements. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.
