Event and Wedding Coordinator

I have been planning events for the last 20 years, on the side. I have always loved hosting people, and I've done a few bridal and baby showers. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings (from full planning to day-of coordination), a large gala for non-profits, an annual fundraiser, a memorial service (for 300+ guests) and a surprise birthday party.

I have always loved event planning. I am extremely organized, have a great attention to detail, an eye for what matters, and I love helping people. This translates so well into event planning - staying organized with all the different aspects that go into an event, making sure details aren't missed (but neither is the big picture) and making sure people feel like their event was successful with my help! Helping people gives me a connection to people that I might not normally connect with. I know that my help makes your life better. This business makes me feel like I am doing something real, something that really matters to people.

    I had the pleasure of working a wedding with Erin that I was photographing. Let’s just say a lot went wrong that day thanks to Mother Nature but Erin handled everything quickly and with grace. She was so easy to work with as another industry professional and she really cared about honoring her brides & grooms vision for the day.

    I worked with Erin as a florist, she was the event planner for a large event and they were in need of florals for their event. While the client requested some unique touches for their florals - Erin handled all of their requests and their back and forth with diplomacy and was a pleasure to work with. I look forward to any opportunity to work with her again in the future.
