“The Fox and Bear Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. Janice, who runs the inn, was an absolute delight and took wonderful care of us and our guests all weekend, with her incredible breakfasts being a standout. Jenn, the day-of coordinator, was equally amazing—organized, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy our day stress-free. For context, we had 65 people at our wedding total, including us and two children. This felt like the perfect size for our group, especially given the necessity of the tent due to chilly October nights. The lodge itself is charming, with great rooms and fantastic amenities. Despite its location at the corner of two streets, we barely noticed any traffic. While nearby lodging options are limited, most of our guests were satisfied with the Quality Inn just 10 minutes away. The venue struck a perfect balance between outdoorsy and chic, offering more flexibility than other venues. Though there were some additional but reasonable fees, it was wonderful to have our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and brunch all at the lodge, making it the ideal fit for our special day. We are so thankful that we decided to stay over an extra night, without any of our guests, to get to truly enjoy the lodge a bit more before checking out. We specialize in long-format weddings, where one couple has exclusive venue access for a full weekend and can have their rehearsal dinner, brunch, or other side events at no additional charge. Overnight lodging for up to 16 guests and professional month-of coordination are included in every package!

“We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.”

The Graham & Co. is a 19 room boutique hotel in Phoenicia, a small hamlet in the Catskill region of New York State. Inspired by the heritage of the Catskills, the Graham & Co. is a modern take on the classic weekend getaway. We are located at the foot of Hunter Mountain and just two blocks off of Phoenicia’s main street, approximately 2.5 hours from New York City. Only 20 minutes away from Woodstock, 40 minutes from Kingston and an hour from Hudson. The hotel is close to many outdoor activities: hiking, fishing, tubing and skiing as well as local wineries, breweries, antiques, shopping and art galleries, The Graham & Co. is a perfect destination for any time of the year!

If you have a strong vision of what you want, are willing to coordinate the vendors yourself, and are looking for a hip and beautiful place in the Catskills, this is the spot for you. The owner Martin and the manager Nathalie were super helpful with any questions we had throughout the months leading up to our event, and the weekend of they were a phenomenal help with everything from setup to making sure every person had anything they needed. We've had so many friends and family members speak incredibly highly of both the location and the staff. We love The Graham, highly recommend, and look forward to going back for years to come!”
