Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Kismet House was brought to life as the perfect venue for your dream wedding and next event. With housing for 24 onsite it's an amazing local destination wedding weekend. The Kismet property spans 62 acres, anchored around our centerpiece, an original classic Red Barn. Surrounded by acres of apple orchards, a secretly nestled pond amidst the trees, meandering walking trails. — Kismet House is a memorable and escape close enough to find a wooded paradise less than two hours from New York City.

Whether you want the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony to be by a private pond or setting up cocktail parties and after hours in our classic red barn, our space is catered for all your needs. We have 3 houses on site and ample parking for all your guests. We will provide a list of preferred vendors but feel free to also bring your own if needed. This is a beautiful rustic oasis just a hour from the city!

    Kismet House was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we booked the space, the owners were incredibly helpful and efficient in their communication, answering all of our questions promptly. Their suggestions for the setup and use of the space were amazing and really helped make our day less stressful. The quality of their work and the overall value was worth every cent - the barn, pond, and every corner of the property provided a dreamlike backdrop that all of our guests raved about. From the ceremony to the sunset and evening by the fireplace, it was magical. I cannot recommend Kismet House enough to any couple looking for a perfect wedding venue.

    I was hired to film a wedding at the Kismet House and was thrilled with the staff and venue. It is a beautiful upstate orchard with a gorgeous pond for the ceremony, remodeled lodging, a rustic barn, and plenty of space for a large party. The staff was kind and very attentive. I can't wait to go back as a contractor or guest!
