Rachel’s relationship with flowers spans a lifetime and two generations. Growing up as a young girl in her mother’s Bronx-based flower shop, Rachel had always been design-oriented. She graduated from SUNY Purchase College with an MFA in Visual Arts, and received her BFA from Maine College of Art. Hello! My name is Albelisa and I am the Owner and Creative Director at Maple Field Floral! This is a business I officially launched in 2017 and it has been an absolute joy to work with flowers in celebrating so many happy occasions! After being hired to make bouquets and centerpieces for a friend's wedding in 2016, floral arranging became a passion for me! I am currently enrolled in the Certificate in Floral Design program at the New York Botanical Garden. I LOVE exploring the Hudson Valley, spending time with my family, playing sports and staying active, reading, board games, DIY crafts, sketching, old buildings and mojitos!

Violet Hour is a recurring daydream brought to life for owner and founder Amy Gilday.
