A Lily Among Thorns offers romantic and modern floral designs for the New York Metropolitan area. With our design studio located in Northern New Jersey, we can also happily extend our design services to Connecticut and Pennsylvania. We specialize in an organic and airy approach to floral design drawing inspiration from how stems naturally grow in nature. In our design approach, we lean towards intentional minimalism so we can focus on designs that truly resonate with our couples.
With an emphasis on color theory and principles of design, each wedding and event is designed intentionally while honoring seasonality. Our work is collaborative and curious as we work alongside Wedding Planners and Designers to execute a vision that is sentimental and original.

Great experience
I had a great experience having Isabel from Lily Among Thorns as the florist for our wedding. She is very communicative and has a great taste for decor. She is the person who makes your ideas come true, plus she is a super sweet person. I highly recommend her.
Isabel is the best!
A Lily Among Thorns was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding florals. From our very first interaction, the owner, Isabel, was open, warm and very responsive, taking the time to truly understand our vision and preferences. Her team is clearly talented, efficient and incredibly artistic, crafting floral arrangements that were both unique and detail oriented. When we needed to adjust the table concept close to the wedding day, Isabel was open to the changes and ensured our final vision was brought to life seamlessly. She is so genuine, kind, and very easy to work with - we cannot recommend A Lily Among Thorns highly enough for any couple looking for exceptional wedding florals!!

Isabel was absolutely incredible to work with, I can't thank her enough!! The florals were so stunning and truly brought our whole wedding vision together. They were beyond what I could have even imagined. Herself and her team were so professional the day off, they arrived to the venue nice and early, had every space set up in time and stayed to transform our ceremony pieces into our reception space. She truly brought my vision to life and was so kind to work with. One of the best decisions with made with our wedding!
Beyond Fantastical
Absolutely amazing, Isabel was attentive, gracious and determined. Zoom calls were straight to the point, and well managed. Isabel seamlessly blended our ideas with her own and we trusted her 100%. It was beyond fantastical and Isabel was at the venue early. We highly recommend her.
