In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Here is how it works: Step one, you peruse our Moodboard Collections, get inspired, and buy the perfect blooms. Then you get access to exclusive, full length DIY tutorials! Step two, you recruit your floral A-team. Stock up on wine and get ready to faint as you unbox floral nirvana. Your flowers arrive 3 days in advance. Day 1, you prep. Days 2-3, you design. Day 4, YOU GET MARRIED. Step 3: Brag Your Face Off! Float down the aisle knowing your guests are totally eye-oogling YOUR hard work.

Flower moxie was a blessing to our wedding. I knew I HAD to have real flowers but wasn’t sure how I was going to make that fit in our budget. We decided to do the full Monty package with flower moxie. The process started by meeting with our designer (Hanna!) virtually and going over my vision, budget, and likes/dislikes. She then sent over a vision packet with all the supplies and florals needed. She also sent a shopping cart with the items that made checkout a breeze. The process of building the florals was seamless and Alexa was there to answer any questions!

This was by far one of the best decisions and money savers I could’ve done for myself. The flowers were top quality, beautiful, and we had a blast putting them together with our family. Flower Mocie is simple and they have videos that will help you prepare in advance for your vision and piecing your bouquets together. I was quoted 5000 for florals by other vendors, but with flower moxie and a little creativity, we only spent 500 to cover 12 bouquets and 16 boutonnières. HIGGLY RECOMMEND

My experience ordering flowers through Flower Moxie was overall very positive. Their communication style made the process easy and straightforward. The staff was readily available to answer my questions and provide guidance every step of the way. The flower kits were high quality and the included instructions made arranging the bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces intuitive even for someone without much floral design experience like myself. On the wedding day, the flowers looked beautiful and really enhanced the venue's decor. My only note would be that the pricing, while still representing good value compared to a traditional florist, does seem on the higher end considering the DIY labor involved. But I saved quite a bit overall and enjoyed making my own arrangements. If you're open to being hands-on with your wedding flowers, I would definitely recommend checking out Flower Moxie.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.
