The Refinery as a venue is so beautiful and serves as a backdrop for really unique pictures that we will cherish forever. Each space within the depot is thoughtfully designed with beautiful details, making it the perfect backdrop for any special celebration. I typically try to avoid indoor venues due to a general lack of quality lighting/backdrop opportunities as a photographer, but I have loved every minute that I've worked at The Depot. Everywhere you look presents a new backdrop opportunity, and the spaces are filled with ample natural light during the daytime. Working with the Grelen Events team is always a breeze, and they are eager to resolve any day-of questions or concerns. You really can't go wrong booking The Depot for your next celebration/event!

TOTT is a great place to have a wedding under 140. We were 130 and it was perfect. They have a great list of preferred vendors for catering and music who are so top notch and everyone works together seamlessly. We had the time of our lives here, our guests loved the views.

The events and food and beverage team go above and beyond to ensure that your event will be a success. We navigated numerous challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Kate and the entire team made what could've been an incredibly stressful process, so easy! Due to local guidelines, we needed to move our indoor event outdoors. With Kate's help, we were able to seamlessly pivot to a beautiful event on the hotel's outdoor heated patio. The food and beverage program is outstanding and safety is considered every step of the way. Can't recommend Viceroy Washington DC highly enough!

Boqueria Penn Quarter was an exceptional choice for our reception venue. From the first time we met with Hadley, their communication was professional, responsive, and well organized. On the day of our wedding reception, the staff was warm, attentive, and truly made us and our guests feel special. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests are still raving about it! We had a great experience with Josephine Butler Parks Center as our venue. The space is beautiful and the price is hard to beat in the area. We were getting compliments on the venue all night at the wedding! The only thing we did not love is that it is not completely accessible, as there is no elevator. We were told there is plans for an elevator, but not sure when that will be.

The Capital Jewish Museum is a beautiful venue with flexible event spaces and thoughtfully curated exhibits. The space is modern and well-appointed with AV, lighting and equipment including tables, chairs and bars. All are high quality and brand new! Event spaces throughout the Museum make for lots of different party plans - a spacious, open first floor would work nicely for a ceremony or program with cocktails on the open-air roof terrace and second floor with time to flip the ceremony space for dinner. Plenty of creative ways to design a lovely party! The events coordinator and the building team are outstanding - very responsive, flexible, and accommodating. Love the CJM team!

We had both our ceremony and reception at the District Winery in early December. When we went to visit the winery, we both loved how unique the space was compared with other venues. It was not the traditional ballroom, high ceilings, chandeliers, rounds with tablecloths to the ground. It was warm, inviting, and rustic. Kat, our event manager, was assigned to us to execute our wedding. It was beyond helpful to have someone from the venue to assist. As the event got closer there were so many decisions to make, but Kat helped tremendously. One example was food - bride’s dad really wanted pasta, but it was not an option on the food menu. Kat discussed with the chef and made it a possibility. Although we did not end up adding pasta, the chef made a special plate for the bride’s dad (he was the only one who really wanted the pasta). Overall, we had a great experience from the bride and groom perspective, but also many of our guests commented on how nice of a venue and the quality of the food.
