About this venue
Old Trade is a family-owned, family-friendly and pet-friendly rural operation located in historic Brandy Station, VA (Culpeper County). The Mulberry at Old Trade is operated in conjunction with Old Trade Brewery & Cidery. It is conveniently located near the cities of Culpeper, Warrenton, and Manassas and is within 1.25 miles of major highway Rt 29.

Excellent Communication & Stress-Free Day
We loved working with Amanda and the staff at The Mulberry. Old Trade is our favorite brewery, so we were so excited when the space was available for us in September 2023. Communication was clear and enthusiastic; the space was clean and simple -- exactly what we wanted! On the day of our wedding, Amanda and staff exceeded our expectations in service and ensured everything went smoothly. We didn't have to think about a thing related to the venue or coordinating with our vendors. Our guests enjoyed the privacy of The Mulberry, and many stayed after our reception to enjoy the live music at Old Trade. We continue to frequent the brewery and reminisce about what a great day we had!

Lauren at The Mulberry at Old Trade Farm was great to work with - she took charge and ensured everything ran smoothly for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a scenic outdoor area that was perfect for our small-to-medium sized celebration. Lauren organized all the logistics for us, and her professionalism and attention to detail made the day stress-free. The value was fantastic, and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience. We're so glad we chose The Mulberry at Old Trade Farm for our special day.
Fantastic experience
The Mulberry at Old Trade Farm (And especially their event coordinator Lauren) went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding. We had serious problems with our caterer (3 hours late, showed up with half the menu) and Lauren was ON IT. She coordinated with our planner and the caterer to get updates on his arrival time, worked tirelessly to make sure food was ready as soon as possible, and kept us informed the whole time. When food was late and not what was promised, she ran to the Old Trade Farm kitchen to get 2 of our guests some different food. She also busted her butt cleaning up afterwards and worked hard to keep my wife and I as stress free as possible. I used to be a banquet server at a similar type of venue, and I've worked at close to 500 weddings - I've worked with many wedding coordinators and most were very good. Lauren was exceptional. Without her, the wedding would have been a disaster and I cannot thank her enough. As for the venue itself, it was perfect for what we wanted, the ceremony was beautiful, photos were wonderful, the decor worked very well, and our guests had a fantastic time. Highly, highly recommend.

The Mulberry at Old Trade Farm was a mixed bag for our wedding day. Their communication via email and text was generally responsive, though a few details were forgotten in the process. On the wedding day itself, we did experience some issues with bugs and technical glitches that caused a bit of a hiccup, but the staff was quick to address them and the rest of the day went smoothly. Overall, they were helpful in assisting with many aspects of our special day, and we were pleased with quality of their services, aside from the few technical difficulties and overrun with spiders and bugs.
