Jason Mitchell Kahn and his team plan weddings for brides, grooms and those who don't identify with titles. Jason began working full time as a wedding planner after the 2014 launch of his new book GETTING GROOMED: THE ULTIMATE WEDDING PLANNER FOR GAY GROOMS, published by Chronicle Books. He's been featured in the NY Times and Brides Magazine has named him one of the Best Planners in the country. Jason brings to weddings his passion for drama honed from his career and education in theatre. Jason approaches all weddings with his playwriting background: What is the couple’s version of their most beautiful story to be told?

We love collaboration and are proud to celebrate how love and marriage look different on all couples. We do weddings of all different scales. The most important thing to us is feeling a connection with our couples that gives us the confidence we can create something truly special together. Keep Calm and Marry On!

    We can’t express enough gratitude for finding Jason and his team. From the start, Jason immediately understood our vibe and vision, perfectly blending my husband’s design ideas with my big-picture plans for the day. His vendor recommendations were spot on—every single one was a 10/10 A rockstar. Jason filled in the gaps, offering ideas and suggestions that made our wedding weekend feel perfect. The team was incredibly communicative, with a fast response time, and there were so many moments where my husband and I, as well as our parents thought: “Thank god for Jason.” As an LGBTQ couple, it was reassuring to have Jason guide us through any sensitive situations, always course-correcting when needed.     JMK is the absolute best! Jason and his team were so helpful guiding us through the planning process and keeping it as low stress as possible. The entire weekend went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have been happier with how it all went.     We couldn't be happier having Jason Mitchell Kahn & Co help organize our special day. From the initial meeting all the way through the big ceremony and even the day after, Jason and his team had played an integral part of the entire process. Their team did a tremendous job in putting it all together so that my spouse and I didn't have to worry other than enjoy the big day together! Extremely professional but also very receptive to late changes and able to accommodate all our needs! We valued his expertise and also his devotion through the process. The venue we chose was beautiful, but was essentially a blank slate. Jason and his team was really put to work to making the wedding so extremely successful, we honestly didn't know what we would've done without them! Highly recommend!!!
