She helped with bringing décor and supplies along with planning a beautiful exit for us and managing all questions and organization throughout the wedding day with expertise. She was so organized and on top of everything for the wedding, as soon as I hired her I felt so much more at ease with the planning process. I did a pretty much DIY wedding, my venue did not provide anything other than the venue and furniture, therefore, I had a lot of moving parts to my wedding and multiple vendors involved. Kristen took all the chaotic information I provided and streamlined the whole thing. She organized everything for me into a very easy to follow timeline and then was in constant communication with all the vendors. My regular hair dresser is the hair dresser I used for my wedding and she and I are friends. She told me that from a vendor's perspective, Kristen was the best coordinator/planner she had ever worked with. She was very impressed with her constant communication and all of the details she thought of in preparation of the event. Kristen and her team took my vision and made it a reality which was no easy task but she got it done. This was hands down the most positive experience I had in wedding planning/preparation and I would highly recommend Kristen for any planning needs!

Words cannot define the worth and joy it was to have Kawania and her team be a part of my wedding day. She was a constant advocate for our needs and budget throughout the process, being realistic at every turn. What I know now is that what you get with Kawania is experience and know-how of the industry. She has planned several weddings and events before and knows how to troubleshoot mishaps that may happen on the wedding day in real time. She understands that the day of the event is a special moment for everyone involved and she knows not to bring stress to the wedding party and to allow them to live in the moment. At subsequent weddings, I have felt that my friends needed this approach with their planners on their wedding day/weekend. I, being their guest or in their bridal party felt the disorganization that their planners or self-planning brought. This was not the case with Kawania. We had glowing comments about our wedding day for even a year after and how it was not just a ceremony but a day of entertainment. She is an excellent communicator. We had regular meetings throughout the year, about once a week. I have seen my friends have wedding planners who do not get back to them for several days after they have a question about their wedding. Kawania brought my vendors to me instead of me having to look for vendors on my own and when one did not work she always had another one that could take the place. She set up meetings with me and my vendors one-on-one and reviewed all of our vendor contracts to make sure that we were getting a fair contract and that expectations for the vendor and for us were both reasonable and what we were looking for. Being a very busy working professional I appreciated that Kawania went above and beyond to make sure that I stayed on the schedule and was extremely patient when there were moments when I could not. I value how she brought my vision to life and had such great attention to small details that my day was exceptional. I have seen my guests feature elements of my wedding at their subsequent events and it speaks to how she was able to set the bar high for what a classy and unique event should be. Far beyond a wedding planner, she has become someone that I keep in contact with after the wedding. She even checked in on me when there was a major catastrophic event that took place in the area where I lived months after the wedding. There were even moments when I became uncertain or stressed and focused on the wrong thing when it came to my wedding. Kawania, quite like a mother figure helped me realize what my focus should be and to ignore all other distractions so that when I walked down the aisle, I was in full confidence of how the day was going to be and did not feel a single ounce of stress on my wedding day. I could not be more thrilled to work with Kawania again. Although I do not see myself getting remarried I would certainly work with her for any big event I needed in the future. She has such a positive energy and global about her and brings a light to every interaction even difficult ones that makes her pleasant, respectable, dependable, and all around the absolute reason why my big day went off such success. I cannot state how tirelessly she and her team worked so when I did meet them in person but felt like I was meeting friends who knew exactly what I wanted. You will not regret working with Kawania and Howerton Wooten events!

We hired Jami for Day of Coordination and received her support over several months, beginning with an hour-long meeting 3 months out! Our wedding was the most incredible day of our lives in big thanks due to Jami’s thoughtful attention to detail, hard work, past wedding experience, and pure kindness! I get emotional thinking about the day and our wonderful experience with Jami! She was truly above and beyond! “Our Curated Design” is the perfect name for her business because she’ll work with you to envision the day you want, going with you through all of your mood boards and ideas so she truly “gets it”! She’ll put what you want into words and writing and then the best part – BRING IT TO LIFE! We wanted whimsical, modern, Wes Anderson vibes, and we more than got them! It was amazing! Going into planning a wedding, I had no idea what a Herculean effort it is to execute one. Even for 80 people, it really is 1,000 details. Jami will make sure to think of every single one. She’ll answer every question you ask and remember the answer when you’ve forgotten it on the big day. She’ll be your biggest cheerleader before, during, and after your wedding. It’s also the little things that Jami thinks of! She had the creative idea to take instax film images throughout our wedding that we’ll now get to cherish forever! We already are! It means so much to us to know that Jami and Will, her husband, had our back throughout our day. We honestly can’t believe how well the day went, but it wasn’t luck or just our planning, it was mostly due to Our Curated Design magic! At the end of the night when we were exhausted (we’d left it all on the dance floor) and we couldn’t help to pack up our decor and things like we wanted to, Jami and Will took care of it with smiles! They were such a calming presence to share the end of our night with. Not to mention, everything got back to our home expertly packed! I would recommend Our Curated Design over and over!

Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. Emily was by the far the best wedding coordinator out there! She is amazing and I would strongly recommend her. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. I was very indecisive about a lot of stuff but she helped talk me through it and figure it out. There was a lot of wedding details I never knew about that she educated me on and pointed me in the right direction.
