From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.

The owners, Margaret and Chris, have a beautiful story and unique professional background. Margaret has thought of absolutely everything to deliver a magical experience. There is so much charm on every foot of the property- if you're looking for a destination wedding that allows you to stay ON SITE, this is IT! Each place to stay (The Wren, The Kingfisher, The Peregrine) have the most thoughtful touches & elevated views. The design of each space is detailed, classy, & has tons of personality. Margaret allows her guests to "personalize" their wedding experience so that each wedding or event planned is truly one of a kind. The Tremont Wedding Venue and Event Space is a beautiful venue with two levels for your celebration. They have many ceremony options, including both indoor and outdoor options with Mountain View’s. They fully plan and coordinate every wedding and event to make sure things are perfect the whole time. The private catering company is delicious and has many options for your budget, and the overall experience was amazing! They set up and break down all tables and chairs, and everything was perfect.

This venue was beautiful!! Lush was AMAZING! She answered all my annoying questions. Very, very communicative always texted or called me back. Very professional and personable. Groom and bridal suites were perfectly set up. Very easy for everyone to find none of our guests had an issue. We did not use the cottage that is onsite where you can stay but that is an awesome add-on. In the pictures below we provided most of the decor but Wildflower provided the boho baskets, chairs, tables, linens, & Mr & Mrs. Sign on sweetheart table as well as the arbor behind that table. They do have other decor that you can use as well. They also provide firewood for the fireplace! Absolutely beautiful place to get married in an awesome location!!

We fell in love with the pictures of the buildings and rooms online and couldn’t have imagined it being even better in person. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The hotel rooms and venue were absolutely beautiful and included details that made it that much more special. The close proximity to downtown action was so convenient for venturing out but you really feel tucked away in your own little world at Zelda Dearest. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Zelda Dearest and anticipate many more trips in the future since their team knocked it out of the park for our event!

The Fields, on 21 rolling acres, awaits you at the end of Reems Creek Valley. With breathtaking views of the Blueridge Mountains. We are minutes from, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and downtown Asheville, NC.​ The Barn is a 3,200 square foot converted stable, a unique rustic barn with the elegance of 21 chandeliers, 2000 square foot Patio draped with Tuscan lights. The Barn is the perfect setting for a relaxing and comfortable celebration, whether it’s a rustic elegant wedding for 50 or 500 guest. The Lodge is a 5,000 square foot Conference Center. The Great room has 20 foot vaulted ceilings. The Boardroom will seat 14 people at a conference table. There are 2 additional dressing rooms upstairs. The largest of the dressing rooms is known as the Brides Room, providing a relaxing and calming feel, with large vaulted ceilings, and views of the mountains.

This wedding venue is gorgeous. The mountains and autumn leaves were absolutely amazing to have especially coupled with the secluded, rustic barn setting that Doug has put together. The staff was so helpful and courteous, supporting us with final decoration touches and amazing host skills. Our bartender, Don, went above-and-beyond by creating our bride-and-groom cocktails with alternative ingredients even when we ran out. They were all really great at day-of coordination. Doug makes all of the food and it turns out really delicious; we recommend the braciole and polenta! The entire day worked out great and our needs were met on the day-of to make the final day very special for us. Although, keep in mind that Doug is solely running the place, which makes it rather difficult to contact him via email or phone. When we arrived for the food tasting in June (wedding date in November), the tasting was rather disorganized and chaotic, leaving us no room to ask questions or determine much-needed details (such as alcohol, food, decorations, seating, order-of-ceremony, vendors, etc. ). Doug's mother, Frida, hosted us for the tasting and left us having more questions than answers. These details were not discussed as was originally planned, but panned over quickly without room for further discussion. Unbeknownst to us there was another wedding at the time of our tasting, which did not allow us the room or time to discuss the topics during the tasting. She was further surprised that we wanted to see the venue, asking if we could come back later, only to be disgruntled when we said we lived out-of-state, which was known to them several months before. It was a stressful 'first look'; recommend going through Doug only for all arrangements/communication. Even so, details were often forgotten--and last minute, we were notified that a special event license was needed to serve alcohol, which (living in DC) is almost impossible to get any government action in less than 4 weeks. It was down to the wire when we finally got the license. Wish we had known of the license requirement 5 months prior in June during the tasting. All being said, it is a beautiful venue and Doug is very kind to take on the venture of hosting weddings at his venue. Be an on-point, early planner and you'll succeed.
