“From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.”

With six years of event planning experience from Greenville Magazine, I thrived on the buzz of big bashes. Then, two years ago, we dove into planning our daughter’s wedding, and bam! I was hooked on the joy of it all! So, we took a bold leap, snagged 30 acres, and rolled up our sleeves to transform our vision into reality: an agricultural paradise, a horse boarding haven, and a stunning event venue! Fast forward to August 2024, and our event barn is finally ready to rock! We can’t wait to bask in all the love as families and friends come together to celebrate. “Christenberry Farms was an answer to prayer for my husband and I in more ways than one. Their property had EVERYTHING we were looking for. The barn is absolutely breathtaking, and we also used the outdoor ceremony site by the lake. The patio/fire pit was a huge hit with our guests. Their space allowed for so much creativity and offered multiple areas for guests to be entertained. More importantly, the owners and staff were incredible. Lisa and Allison Christenberry were SO helpful in assuring that we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. They wore many hats throughout our engagement, as they were offering help with finding other vendors, providing decor, and helping us understand the ins-and-outs of wedding planning. They are truly professionals in the field- they had answers to every question. They also prioritized our comfort and piece of mind. When they noticed that wedding planning was overwhelming, they helped me get connected with an amazing coordinator, Elizabeth Cardwell! She put together our timeline and ran our behind the scenes on wedding day. Elizabeth was another answer to prayer! She was the glue that held our day together.
