Above ALX Community is a premier rooftop venue in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, just two blocks off of charming King Street. From the wide wraparound Terrace, you and your guests will enjoy panoramic views of historic Old Town, the Potomac River, and the sights of DC in the distance. The Terrace features a patio covered by a pergola, which can accommodate an intimate seated ceremony or reception. Moving indoors to the Parlor you’ll find sleek marble floors, modern gold finishes, and plush contemporary furniture, perfect for cocktail hour. The Parlor features high ceilings, an outfitted bar, a catering kitchen, elevators, and floor-to-ceiling windows with two access points to the Terrace. Just off the Parlor is the George Washington room, which has a full wall of windows that opens onto the patio, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor feel. This room can be used for a seated indoor ceremony, reception, and/or dancing, and is outfitted with state-of-the-art AV equipment.

The Wharf Dockmaster Building is located at the end of District Pier and your rental includes the space on the pier around it. You have wrap around balconies and 270 degree views of the river and boats, plus the Washington Monument. Your rental gives you the building for the day so you can do any advance decorating, load in etc. It is unfurnished space – typically your caterer will coordinate tables, chairs etc. and help you design the look you want. Our inside capacity is typically 100 seated dinner style or 140-150 standing cocktail style.

Gallery O on H is DC's most unique indoor-outdoor gallery and event venue. It is a space where art,music and the unexpected come together to honor the past and celebrate the present, delivering the authentic experience you were hoping to find for your wedding or event. Gallery O on H is located in the Atlas District Arts and Entertainment neighborhood in the 1300 block of the historic H Street corridor. Construction on Powerhouse began in 1915 as part of an expansion project by the D.C. Paper Manufacturing Company. In 1917, the building began operating as a power plant for the paper company. Just a few short years later in 1919, Capitol Traction Company purchased Powerhouse to use as trolley car storage until 1932. In more recent years, Powerhouse has been used for event and office space. Today, the iconic smokestack still stands 150 feet above the building, symbolizing its towering impact on the history and culture of Georgetown.
