The Haas-Lilienthal House

Welcome. Built-in 1886 for William and Bertha Haas, the House is an exuberant example of Queen Anne-style architecture. The Haas and Lilienthal families occupied the house until 1973. It then went into the trust of San Francisco Heritage, a non-profit architectural and cultural preservation organization that turned it into a museum and event venue for the enjoyment of the community. In 2012, the House was designated a National Treasure by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
