About this venue

Built in the heart of the Presidio of San Francisco, a national park, and conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown San Francisco, the Presidio Clubhouse offers breathtaking surroundings & dramatic sunsets. Outfitted with exposed beam ceilings, rich cherry wood paneling, a large stone fireplace & French doors, the Clubhouse & attached Tented Terrace offer sweeping views of the golf course. Our guests enjoy the ambiance of a country lodge enhanced by our rich history, & the time honored traditions of a grand golf course built over a century ago, making the Presidio Clubhouse a unique setting for your event. In addition to the Clubhouse, we have tented our outdoor terrace. Your guests will find the Tented Terrace & Clubhouse equally comfortable and inviting. The tent is equipped with heaters which run on thermostats & have a track lighting system with dimmers, allowing for an intimate dinner or festive dancing area!

Tented Terrace

The perfect space for your plated or buffet dinner reception with gorgeous views and overhead Edison bulb lighting - The Tented Terrace.

Our Tented Terrace, featuring a distinct French door entrance, essentially extends the capacity of our Clubhouse and creates one large event space. Our beautiful event tent encompasses our entire outdoor terrace (45’ x 55’), has a white top with clear walls and French doors. Your guests will find the Tented Terrace & Clubhouse equally comfortable and inviting. The tent is equipped with heaters & have a track lighting system with dimmers, allowing for an intimate dinner or festive dancing area!

Your ideal cocktail hour space - the Clubhouse!

Our Clubhouse is a full restaurant (The Ironwoods) during the day and a beautiful cocktail hour and dance floor space in the evening! Outfitted with exposed beam ceilings, rich cherry wood paneling, a large stone fireplace & French doors. A large built-in bar creates a focal point upon entry and a perfect spot to serve our exquisite selection of cocktails, beer, and wine!

Palmer Room & Patio Lawn

A versatile, smaller solution for your daytime affair or evening celebration, this versatile venue is available to host your event - The Palmer Room.

Nestled adjacent to the main Clubhouse, our intimate dining area has rich cherry wood-paneled pocket doors, glass-paned French doors, and a dramatic ceiling, creating an atmosphere of elegance. With immediate access to the outdoor lawn area and patio, this space accommodates up to 40 guests for seated events and up to 50 for an all-standing reception. For larger gatherings, additional guests can be accommodated with outdoor seating.
