“Hiring Dhalia Events was one of the best decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. I am skeptical of the wedding industry in general, but I am convinced that wedding coordinators like Deliece and Melissa are skilled, experienced professionals in a niche field who can make a huge difference in the quality of your experience. And what's the point if you don't get to enjoy your wedding experience? Here are some specific things that Deliece and Melissa did that were super-helpful on the day of: 1) I couldn't find the body tape I had bought, but they had some on hand. 2) I needed to stay hydrated after I got my makeup done, so they provided straws so I could drink without messing up my lipstick. 3) The groom's vest had fallen to the bottom of his garment bag after we dry cleaned it, but they had a portable steamer and were able to get the wrinkles out. 4) They arranged a tent for our DJ for the ceremony, which was outdoors, when they discovered at the last minute that the contract required a tent rain-or-shine. 5) They made sure we ate dinner (and dessert). 6) They made sure waitstaff were replacing our drinks at regular intervals during the reception. 7) They brought a handheld portable fan, which was a lifesaver since it was more than 90 degrees outside. 8) They provided transportation around the property, which was a vineyard that wasn't very walkable in my nice shoes. 9) A friend left something in their car by accident at the end of the night, and they arranged to mail it to her a few days later. All of these things were nice surprises. It's not like we asked them to bring straws, it didn't even occur to us that we'd need them. But Deliece and Melissa brought them anyway because this is their job and they know what they're doing. They were PREPARED. I also want to note that I did not buy full wedding planning services from them, just month-of coordination, but they never treated me like a less important client. There were cases in the months leading up to the wedding where I asked them for help that was actually outside the scope of services we had agreed on, and they were very professional in letting me know that it wasn't included in my package. I appreciate that they enforced their boundaries so politely and respectfully-- I like that in a person. Overall, I can't recommend Dhalia Events highly enough.”

“Hands down, Faye Fern Creative was our favorite wedding vendor. We could not have trusted our day to a more talented, caring, experienced, and fully dedicated team. During our consultation call, I mentioned a mutual Instagram friend connection and discovered that Natalie had coincidentally planned a stylish film industry event for them in New York almost a decade ago and also the wedding of one of their friends. My friend had nothing but fabulous things to say. The way she described what it was like to work with Natalie made me know instantly that we HAD to book her. My husband and I found it very easy to trust the Faye Fern design and planning team throughout everything. Natalie rescued us from making several bad decisions with her sage advice and I am not embarrassed to admit that things could have turned out quite disastrous for us if we had been left to plan our own wedding without her expertise. She also literally saved us hundreds of hours and prevented me from having to go down an endless research blackhole because she introduced us to the best vendors for our vision and managed EVERYTHING. Anyone who has ever had a wedding probably knows how easy it is to get overwhelmed by the number of vendor choices and social media horror stories of bad vendor experiences. We were grateful to have Natalie’s guidance and knew that she was only booking us vendors who were trustworthy and fit our aesthetic. At the start, Natalie told us that she customizes the experience to the couple. She took a lot of care to learn our communication style and how involved we wanted to be in planning. We chose to let her take the reins and just present us options to make major decisions on. She was very respectful of our vision and even made wonderful design suggestions that improved it. Natalie also preferred to get everything locked down sooner rather than later, kept us on track with deadlines, and is so organized and well prepared. This allowed us to spend the final month before our wedding in an unexpected state of relaxation and she encouraged us to turn our focus to self-care since almost all the work had already been done. SO, SO different from our siblings and friends who spent their own final month before their weddings still stressing about timelines, seating and floor plans, and all kinds of last minute tasks. We were grateful to have avoided that because it allowed us to arrive at our wedding feeling well rested, calm, and 100 percent confident that we were about to have the best weekend of our lives. It should also be said that Natalie’s design genius is nothing short of inspiring. She came up with our perfect color palette and wedding design even though most of the inspiration photos I sent her were of travel, fashion, interiors and graphic design that I liked. I told her that I didn’t have much saved in terms of wedding photos and she just said “No problem, I absolutely love that. We don’t want your wedding to look exactly like someone else’s anyway!” and went right to work, coming up with such a gorgeous design that fit who we are. “It was so fun getting to spend time with her and getting to know her during this process. Cathy made every little detail of our fairytale wedding come true. She was terrific during the planning process. When I wanted to try to handle projects myself, she stepped back and let me handle them, but was always there if I needed advice or help with anything. When I needed her to be more involved and hands on, I felt completely confident and comfortable letting her take things in the direction that she felt was best. She was always quick to answer emails and talk on the phone to hash out big picture items or last minute details. The week leading up to the wedding Cathy was AMAZING. We spent almost 2 hours on the phone making sure every last detail was taken care of and exactly the way I envisioned it. She ran our ceremony in the pouring rain and was always cheerful and positive, she was there for me for moral support all afternoon while I was getting ready, she helped setup the barn and ceremony beautifully and made sure every detail was in order. During the ceremony and reception, she made sure that my husband and I were taken care of the entire evening. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish and Cathy's expertise, guidance and help played such a huge part in the success of our wedding day. Thank you Cathy!! “Meagan is everything you’d expect a travel agent to be AND MORE. The organization, the promptness, the expertise she has in all things travel related provides a huge sense of comfort and ease when planning a trip. My husband and I experienced a hiccup during our honeymoon and Meagan leapt into action to assist even with the time change being 5 hours ahead of EST which led to a VERY early morning for her to help troubleshoot. “We were told that hiring a planner for a wedding of our size was almost necessary, and thank God we did because we couldn’t have pulled off the incredible day we had without Brittany. After interviewing countless planners we seemed like we were getting nowhere, that is, until we had our first conversation with her. After hanging up the phone we knew she was the one for us. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire process, she constantly made herself available for us, her style matched ours perfectly, and I’m glad to say we gained a friend out of this. She reviewed and negotiated contracts, helped source key vendors, and went to bat for us every step of the way. It’s inevitable when planning a wedding to encounter obstacles and Brittany was ahead and on top of all of it. She shielded us from behind-the-scenes drama and went out of the way to make sure we had the best day of our lives. Everything went so smoothly.
