My name is Katie and I am The Hoppy Wife. THW was born out of a love for all things weddings and meticulous attention to all the little details. I am a Vermont based Wedding Planner and have a degree in Hospitality Management and Events Management. I have over 10 years of industry experience and have developed a strong passion for planning, refined designs, creating beautiful spaces, and making visions come to life. I live with my husband and our dog in VT but grew up in MA. I am a crazy plant lady & flower lover! I love adventuring in all the seasons.

I am a firm believer in going with your gut and doing what makes YOU happy. There is so much that goes into wedding planning but you cannot forget about who you are and what you and your fiance stand for. These are some of the most important events of your life, so allow me to help you enjoy these moments to the fullest.

Description

This is perfect for the couple that needs direction and assistance with the entire process but still want to be involved with the fun decision-making parts of planning. I am here to help you from the very start popping champagne to the very end of the night on the dancefloor. We will design, coordinate and execute this as if it was our own.

This package is a seamless blend between our day of coordination and full service planning offerings. You have your venue and date secured but we will assist you in your vendor selection and putting together the design concepts. We will be right there with you and work as a team to create this special day! THW promises a seamless event execution while making sure everyone is focusing on celebration and are comfortable throughout the day.

This package is for the couple that "sort of" have it all together but knows they can't be in a million places at once on the day. You have said yes to the dress, your invites have been sent, you have all of your vendors secured but you need some assistance when it comes to organizing final details and executing the actual day! We will ensure we are with you to manage the day seamlessly, so you can focus on celebrating.

    Working with Katie was truly a dream come true. She made the entire planning process so much more fun and seamless, and throughout the months leading up to our wedding continuously kept us on track and on top of all of the details that can feel so daunting to manage. She was extremely flexible as we changed our minds about design and timeline (repeatedly) and always found a solution even when it felt like a problem was unsolvable. On the weekend of the wedding, Katie’s support was above and beyond what I could have imagined. From transferring decor between locations in record time, to quickly finding replacement candles when ours didn’t arrive, to sitting with us the day before the wedding to resolve last minute seating chart changes, Katie was an incredible partner. The day before our wedding I had THE most relaxing day (seriously, I actually sat by the pool and read a book) because I knew Katie had everything under control. On top of all of this, Katie brings such a warm and positive energy to what can at times be an overwhelming process. We are so grateful that we had Katie with us through this journey - truly could not have done it without her!!

    Katie was an instrumental part of the day. We do not know what we would have done without her. She was so organized and detail oriented. She kept the day running smoothly and on time. We have been working with Katie for nearly 2 years. Katie has been so kind, patient, and helpful. Our families have not stopped talking about how impressed they are with her. I truly can not thank her enough for her help on the wedding day as well as on the days leading up. I believe having her there was the only reason I was not an anxious mess. Thank you Katie!!

    Hiring Katie at the Hoppy Wife as our Day of Coordinator was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding this past July. She was AMAZING and went above and beyond in all aspects on our wedding day. She was so organized, friendly, calm, and easy to work with. She oversaw all aspects of decorating our venue, ensuring that the timeline ran smoothly, and helping with every single task big and small. MANY of our wedding guests have since asked us where we found our wedding coordinator and told us that Katie was the best. Katie was the reason that our wedding was as stress-free as it was. We cannot recommend Katie enough- hire her, you will not regret it!!!
