The experience I had at Renaissance was truly unforgettable. Lisa and Maritza went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for my event. Their responsiveness, helpfulness, and engaging personalities added to the overall positive experience. The hall itself is stunning and I regret not having better pictures to capture its beauty. We were able to utilize both the outside for our wedding ceremony and the inside for our reception, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our family and friends. My husband and I, decided to do buffet style for the dinner. The food served at the buffet was absolutely amazing. We also chose the premium open bar, the bartenders did an amazing job with the drinks. My husband and I wedded on July 26,2024, and to this day our family and friends still talk about how much fun they had and how delicious the food and drinks were. If you're considering hosting an event, I highly recommend choosing Renaissance as your venue. Trust me, you won't regret it! #TheWillis's

My wife and I we're very overwhelmed when we were trying to plan our wedding until we found Glasserie. We worked with Emily who was above and beyond, unbelievable. She was able to help guide us and meet our requests to create the most perfect wedding imaginable. To this day we still have friends and family telling us our wedding has been the best one they've ever gone to and we know that wouldn't have been possible without the help and support of Emily and Glasserie. 11 out of 10, no notes.

The Sanctuary RI

4.7

  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $15,000

Nestled in a beautifully restored former church, The Sanctuary RI combines historic elegance with modern charm. The venue boasts stunning original stained glass and a serene, intimate atmosphere. Guests are often impressed by the exceptional service and the breathtaking views of the East River, making it an ideal setting for any special event. The landscaped patio provides a perfect space for cocktail hours, while private rooms offer cozy settings for more intimate gatherings. This venue's flexibility and attention to detail ensure a memorable experience for all occasions.

My husband and I got married two weeks ago at The Sanctuary and had the best night! Our guests loved the many features of the venue (the pier, patio, tent, and indoor space), complimented the food and drinks, and we were all extremely impressed by the high quality service provided by the bartenders and waiters. Working with Amelia and Kat on the day was a pleasure and we couldn’t thank them enough for supporting us as we got set up that morning, and throughout the day. Our wedding day was the first time we interacted with either of them, and it was a pleasant surprise to have so much support on our side. Throughout the planning process we worked closely with Alfonso. Alfonso does a great job selling The Sanctuary and was available to answer our questions along the way. There were definitely some things we needed to dig into a bit more than we thought we’d have to - creating a detailed timeline for the day based a few examples provided, develop clearer floorplans of the venue for our vendors to ensure they understood the space, putting together a table map for our dinner setup, renting/purchasing the sound equipment needed for our ceremony on the pier, finding an alternative rehearsal space, and hiring a day of coordinator to support with decor, set-up, flow, and cleanup. Reading other reviews of the venue was super helpful to ensure we were asking the right questions and following up on pieces that seemed unclear. If you’re looking for an affordable (relative to the rest of NYC), dynamic, and interesting wedding venue, and you’re willing to put in the work or hire a wedding planner, this is definitely a great contender!

Terrace On The Park

5.0

Queens, NY
  • Up to 900 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $20,000

As New York's most recognizable event venue for more than two generations, Terrace On The Park makes your wedding dream come true. An architectural masterpiece that seems to float above the surrounding landscape, Terrace On The Park is one of the city's most iconic landmarks, visible for miles — and offering unparalleled vistas of the Flushing Meadows Park, Citi Field, the National Tennis Center and the glittering Manhattan skyline. We offer lavishly decorated ballrooms, suites and reception areas for weddings of all sizes, and tailor every detail of your special day – from menu options, music, decorations and customized lighting – to ensure an absolutely one-of-a-kind celebration of your love. On-site ceremonies can be held indoors in our private Chapel, outdoor at our Rooftop Wedding Pergola, or one of our three lush garden settings.

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was booking Terrace On The Park! From our very first visit and up until our big day, they were super accommodating, responsive and very organized. We’re an international couple, that was looking for an affordable, large rooftop venue that could accommodate 140 guests. The TOTP team were thorough in explaining the contracts, allowed us as many venue visits as we wished and on the day of, provided white glove service! While it rained on our big day and plans needed to change, it was all done seamlessly. They provided a small buffet of fruit, salads, and drinks in the bridal suite while we waited for our pre-ceremony photoshoot to start and the guests to arrive. The food was amazing! We’re so glad we added in the sushi platter during the cocktail hour, the amuse bouche during dinner, (the lemon sorbet was delicious) and our signature cocktail (Lavender Gin Lemonade)! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the service, food, and drinks were. We even hired ND Cigars for our cocktail hour, which added a touch of class to our event. We brought our own DJ from home, but hired a few of their preferred vendors, ACM Event Group (equipment rental & MC) and Tino Photography, for which they were all a pleasure to work with! Just a few of the amazing staff we had the opportunity to work with at TOTP are: Ken Weintraub – Event Manager Nicole Barroca – Finalist Manager Jovanna Trapani – Operations Allison – Bridal Attendant PS... The morning after our wedding we met a couple staying at our hotel that also got married at Terrace On The Park, 41 years ago!!! I never thought I could feel even more secure about the decision to book them, but I did! They too raved about how good the venue was all those years ago!! BOOK THEM NOW! You won’t regret it!
