I’ve been a make-up artist, chocolatier, a barista, a pet-sitter, a bartender but I’ve always been “that girl with the camera.” (I’ve also been, “that girl who sleeps on our couch” or “that girl who’s booty I saw in the newspaper” but I digress…). Currently, I base my photography business in Petaluma, CA. I grew up in Sonoma County but in my early 20’s I picked up and moved to Manitoba and that’s where I stayed for many years. Upon my return to CA in 2013 I turned my passion for photography into a career. It’s been a journey to call photography my profession, but I’ve always been a photographer and I’ve always been an artist.

I am an irreverent guy who just so happens to create beautiful-rich-vibrant-uniquely-authentic wedding photography in and around the Bay Area, all over California and anywhere there’s beautiful light.

Flying Cloud can put together a complete package tailored to each couple using our preferred vendors, or you are welcome to use your own. With indoor and outdoor facilities, Flying Cloud can host incredibly beautiful weddings year round.

Preferred Sonoma Caterers was founded by Owner/Chef Amber Balshaw and her husband Jim over 25 years ago. Rosewood Events - A dream wedding and event destination. Rosewood is an elegant, private, country estate with 600 acres of manicured grounds and incredible views. We have lovely flower gardens, extraordinary ridge-top views, a magical first look pergola, lavender and daisy fields, river beds, willow trees, grape vines, redwood groves and 360 degree views! There is a lovely tent for a covered reception for up to 200 that includes tables, chairs, bar, lighting and chandelier. The cocktail reception is held at the gazebo including cocktail furniture set inside an incredible rose garden with Italian string lighting, a fabulous bar and games area. The ceremony can be under a willow or in the great field and includes a custom arbor and ceremony chairs. The welcome beverage area is under an ancient willow and includes the bar. My biggest passions are aesthetics and human connection...so weddings are naturally my favorite thing to photograph. After hundreds of weddings, I still find myself tearing up (or maybe a little more than tearing up) at almost every wedding I photograph. People describe me as being sweet and my work as having a delicate, elegant, feminine, and refined quality to it. I believe in authentic romance and real love. My favorite weddings are outdoors, featuring sweeping coastal backdrops, soaring redwoods, rolling hills, or gorgeous vineyards mixed with tastefully stylish decor - and always with a lot of love.

I started DJ’ing as a kid with two boom boxes, cassette mixtapes, and a deep love for music. I got into Turntablism and DJ’ing as an art form after completing a term in the Air Force. That's when I expanded my love for music and worked my way through college DJ’ing and doing voiceover. At Cal State I earned a B.A. in Film & Audio Production, and I then went on to become a certified Audio Engineer. When it comes to DJing for private events/venues like club rentals, weddings, corporate parties etc, I love my clients, and thrive on making meaningful connections.
