    We cannot say enough wonderful things about Merrie at Silver and Sage Weddings! From the moment we met her, she exuded warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for making our wedding day perfect. She took the time to understand our vision, listened to every detail, and turned our ideas into a seamless, stress-free experience. Merrie’s organization and attention to detail were unmatched. She kept us on track throughout the planning process, making sure nothing was overlooked. On the wedding day, she handled everything flawlessly—coordinating vendors, keeping the timeline running smoothly, and ensuring that we could truly relax and enjoy our special day. Any little hiccup that came up, Merrie handled with grace and a smile, making sure we never had to worry about a thing. What truly sets Merrie apart is her kindness and calming presence. Weddings can be overwhelming, but she made the entire process feel effortless and joyful.     I want to start by saying that everything leading up to our wedding was fantastic! Merrie was super helpful and easy to work with. She was able to adapt quickly to changes and offered valuable insights from her experience with previous weddings, which I really appreciated. However, there were a few things over the wedding weekend that could have been handled better. There was a lack of communication regarding her two assistants. I was not informed that they wouldn’t be there on Saturday, and while I understand they were sick, we had planned and tipped accordingly ahead of time for her and two assistants. It would have been helpful to know about the change earlier. Although Merrie’s husband was assisting, I was told he was mostly watching things on an iPad in the kitchen during the wedding. It would have been great to have 1-2 additional people available throughout the evening, especially during the times I couldn’t find Merrie because she was busy with other tasks. There were also a few details that slipped through the cracks. For example, the mirror and the cake were not set out when the desserts were put out, meaning we missed the photo opportunity with the full dessert table. I also had to step in and remind the DJ about the timing of announcements for shuttle times, speeches, the performance, and late-night snacks. On top of that, some songs from our "Do Not Play" list were played, which was frustrating. The sunset photos missed were nobody’s fault, but I wish a specific time had been communicated to me to be available for the photographer. It would have been helpful if Merrie had made sure I was there at the right time. I also received feedback from family and friends regarding Merrie's communication, which seemed somewhat harsh at times, particularly when it came to comments about drinking and her personal opinions on the matter. Overall, while I did appreciate Merrie’s help and know she worked hard, there were several areas where things could have been communicated better and managed more smoothly. I think there’s potential for improvement, especially around the coordination and communication during the actual wedding day.

    There are no words to describe how thankful we are to Merrie and her team. We got married in November 2024 and our wedding went incredibly well. We couldn’t have done it without Merrie. From our initial conversation we knew that we could trust her with this important event. She was always very upfront how she could help us and that is what sold us. We didn’t have a clue about what it took to plan a wedding, and Merrie made it so easy to make sure we didn’t miss anything and everything was covered. She created our day-of-timeline for us which was a huge help. She was always available for anything we needed. She drove out for any meeting we needed her for—she really went above and beyond for us, and we really appreciated that. Day of there was an issue regarding guest seating and Merrie and her team quickly handled the problem and allowed me to take my focus away from that and actually enjoy my wedding day. They made sure we were always having fun and had everything we needed. They helped us set up all of our decorations and made sure my visions came to life. We could not recommend her more. She made the whole process as stress-free as she could. We will forever be thankful to Merrie for helping us make an unforgettable night.
