I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me!     Katie was a HUGE help for us! I (the bride) had to work long hours in the months leading up to the wedding. I hired most of the vendors long ahead of time and my husband handled invitations, but I knew I'd need additional help for the month-of and day-of. Having Katie on board really put me at ease while I was working, and allowed me and my family to just enjoy the day and not have to worry. Katie did the venue walk through with us, met with the venue coordinators, expertly guided us during the rehearsal since none of us knew what we were doing, and helped everything flow on the big day. She handled our 2 very demanding sets of parents with patience and grace, even when they weren't being very nice to her in return. When shopping around for a coordinator I found Katie's prices to be the fairest, and on the phone she sounded like the go-getter I needed for the job. Highly recommend!

    Katie was such a pleasure to work with! Pie wedding day was perfect and I truly owe it to her. She was so organized and attentive and made sure my now husband and I were taken care of on our wedding day. I will miss working with her and recommend her to all future brides!

    Katie was nothing short of AMAZING! She is sweet, funny, knowledgeable, helpful, supportive, kind, thoughtful, detail-oriented, punctual, and just an AMAZING Wedding Coordinator. I cannot imagine my planning and my special day running as smoothly and as well without her. Katie was super responsive and on top of everything. We were so fortunate to have her because there were many details that we did not consider in the planning process, let alone on our special day. Katie was our Wedding Coordinator. We booked with her a little under a year in advance. Her pricing was affordable and the services she offered as our Coordinator were phenomenal. I appreciated the split payments and it was super easy to pay through her platform. Katie was always available through text, call, or email. She was a huge support when we had issues with vendors. She coordinated EVERYTHING! And even helped set up items for our wedding day. Having her for the Wedding Rehearsal was GREAT! And the day of....she was AWESOME! She fluffed my dress, fixed my corset, made sure everything ran smoothly, made sure things remained on time, made sure everything ran how it was supposed to, made sure pictures were completed, made sure the bride and groom, and family were taken care of, served us appetizers and food, had bobby pins on deck for my tiara that was not staying, made sure our timeline was fulfilled with the time we had, met with us a few times before our wedding day, and so much more. The list is endless! I had ZERO worries or stress on my day. She made us feel so relaxed and special. We cannot thank you enough for all that you did for our Special Day. Please book with Katie. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Katie!!! 3 You will always be remembered every time we think back to our special day :).

    Katie with Wildflowers Elegant Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! We didn't initially plan on hiring a coordinator as I am an Event Planner as a career, but we decided somewhat last minute to hire a day of coordinator so that we could focus on enjoying our special day, and I am SO glad we did! Katie jumped right in and helped us finalize the last few vendors and details that we still had left to do. She kept us on track and made sure we had all the necessary decisions and details figured out in time, and assisted with recommendations as needed. As we got a week or so out, we were getting worried about the weather and she was monitoring the weather daily with us to figure out what to do as our venue was all outdoors. She assisted us with the logistics and contacts of renting last minute tents which worked out beautifully. On the day of, in addition to keeping us sane and making sure we had time to really appreciate the day, she and her team ran point with all the vendors as they arrived, put out the decor that we had brought, and kept us on schedule for all the different parts of the day from first look photos, to ceremony, and reception, and assisted with gathering up all the decor and items at the end of the night so that we could enjoy the day and be present. Our day was absolutely perfect, and we have Katie to thank for that!
