Le Conte (if it's a small wedding party), in the back yard of The Vieux surrounded by the trees or inside in front of the floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Wherever you choose, your wedding will be unique and just as you choose it to be. We don't charge an exorbitant amount for our venue because we want you to be able to afford to stay at The Vieux and have your wedding all rolled into one at a great price. Some choose to do everything DIY while others choose to have a wedding coordinator, catered food and decorators come to prepare everything for them. The historic Monte Vista Hotel is a key component to Black Mountain’s storied past. Originally home to the Cherokee people, this valley became an early pathway west for traders, explorers and people seeking a new life beyond the eastern mountains.
