I am in Delta Zeta at UNCW and Ray helped us have the smoothest bid day celebration ever. From setup to takedown, he was kind, friendly, and attentive. He waited outside for all of us to drive off. The space is gorgeous, especially the outdoor area! I will definitely consider using Ray’s space for any future personal events.

Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. My husband and I wanted a downtown Raleigh event space to host our reception. We are SO happy we went with Melrose Knitting Mill! The price was extremely competitive, location was excellent for out of town guests (no rental car needed), the space was clean, always accessible for me to pop by, food was served warm and tasted amazing, super friendly catering staff, and really excellent bar service. My guests loved cocktail hour downstairs and were wow'ed by the space!

Ironclad was the absolute perfect place to host our wedding! Rachel and the entire staff made everything so easy and the space worked perfectly for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. The price was all inclusive- to include the venue, the staff, and open bar for our guests for a designated amount of time and ended up being cheaper than it would have been had we purchased all the elements separately, and with the convenience of having everything (and everyone) under one roof! The ambience was exactly what we were looking for: rustic, yet dreamy- with twinkle lights everywhere. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to say “I do”!

The team delivered our Vision 100%. We had a lot of DIY items stored in labeled boxes and we went over everything and provided a description of what the tables would look like etc and the day off I didn’t have to do anything but focus on being the bride and getting pretty. The energy of everyone on the team was positive and extremely accommodating!! If I didn’t have the answer for where things should go the response was always “don’t worry, we will figure it out!” I would hire them again for my next event! They were also able to provide our photo booth service (last minute bc we decided on it late in the game) and they brought personalized props to fit our theme and personalities. All of my wedding guests complimented them and spoke highly of how organized they were. I made it clear I wanted to start on time (not 1 minute earlier or later) and Demetra did JUST THAT!! I would HIGHLY recommend them! Prior to the wedding day we met at the venue to discuss details and talk through logistics. This made me and my husband feel comfortable and allowed the planners to see everything that needed to be executed. They were running around the entire night so that my bridal party and guests didn’t have to lift a finger and everyone knew where to go and what to do. Thank you again for an amazing experience!!

We fell in love with the pictures of the buildings and rooms online and couldn’t have imagined it being even better in person. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The hotel rooms and venue were absolutely beautiful and included details that made it that much more special. The close proximity to downtown action was so convenient for venturing out but you really feel tucked away in your own little world at Zelda Dearest. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Zelda Dearest and anticipate many more trips in the future since their team knocked it out of the park for our event!

If you’re looking for the perfect venue, 658 Events is it! This space truly has it all, and John is an absolute gem. He goes above and beyond to help with anything you need, making the entire process seamless. While it’s not strictly all-inclusive, John has an incredible way of making it feel that way. He can help you arrange everything you need, from catering to décor, so you’re never left feeling overwhelmed. The in-house catering is a game-changer – no stress about finding a caterer, and the food is fantastic. This venue is a nonprofit, so you can feel good knowing your money is making a difference. For every meal purchased, they donate free meals to the community lunch program the following week. They’ve thought of everything: chinaware, servers, bartenders, and even the option to bring your liquor – saving you a ton of money. And if you need décor or a planner, John has incredible recommendations to make your vision come to life. The space is huge, with plenty of room for your event and a beautiful lobby for a cocktail hour. Multiple ceremony options are available to suit your style. I honestly can’t recommend 658 Events enough. It’s the venue that takes the stress out of planning and lets you focus on enjoying your event.

Boxcar Bar Arcade provided a beautiful and unique space for our wedding, but the communication leading up to the event was a real challenge. The lack of an on-site event coordinator led to some miscommunication and confusion during the planning process, especially around the bar and bartending services. However, the on-site staff were quick to resolve any issues that came up and ensure our guests had a fun and memorable time in the vibrant, arcade-themed atmosphere. Overall, Boxcar Bar Arcade offered great value for the space, but couples should be prepared to take a more hands-on approach to planning and coordinating with the venue. Highly recommended bringing day of coordinator service at this venue

From the moment we first reached out, the staff was incredibly accessible, friendly, and flexible in helping us plan our special day. The space itself is versatile, spacious, and chic - it was the ideal backdrop for our celebration. We loved that the venue had lots of decorations available that we could use, and the staff was so helpful in making sure everything was set up just right while we were on site.
