Circuit Center & Ballroom - Fluted Mushroom

5.0

Pittsburgh, PA
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $15,000

Welcome. In 1972, Paul Deiseroth built a commercial kitchen in the basement of the family’s home for his wife, Peg, to launch her catering business— The Fluted Mushroom. It was an apt name because the intricately carved mushroom exemplified the skill, beauty, and taste that Peg brought to Pittsburgh’s culinary scene. Today, thousands of weddings, corporate events, and private parties later, son Lee Deiseroth and his staff will bring that enduring style and sophistication to your next special event. Our goal is to create a uniquely you catering experience, which requires an understanding of your or your family’s personality and tastes.

I’ve designed for a couple weddings at Circuit Center and Ballroom over the last year. All times I’ve worked with them they have been easy to get ahold of and efficient. They recently had a change in their vendor coordinator. Chelsey is the new person in the position and it was a much more enjoyable and relaxed set up than previous times. This is a great venue for vendors to have easy access to set up space, access to water, trash, carts, and next day break down. And not to mention it’s a huge, gorgeous space! Highly recommend

Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA
  • Up to 100 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh Brewery & Restaurant is located in the popular Southside Works area of Pittsburgh and is a place where family and friends can enjoy great beer, great food and fun times. It starts with a wide selection of traditional beer brewed on site every day…with flavorful seasonal selections every month. All crafted under the direction of our talented brew master while adhering to Germany’s strict purity law. Next, an award-winning menu with something for everyone…whether it’s a traditional German favorite like schnitzel or bratwurst…or one of the best burgers around! And don’t forget to try one of our delicious cream puffs! It’s all wrapped up in a vibrant environment modeled after the legendary 400+ year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany -- with authentically decorated rooms, live music and one of Pittsburgh’s most scenic outdoor Biergarten’s with a view of the beautiful Monongahela River

The Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. Their communication style was clear, polite, detailed, and attentive throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself was budget-friendly, had a rustic charm, and provided ample space for our celebration. The staff kept the beer flowing, and the servers were incredibly attentive to us as the bride and groom, ensuring we were well-fed and always had a drink in hand. The schnitzel and spinach artichoke dip were absolute highlights of the menu, which the venue coordinator and chef helped us curate to perfectly suit our needs and budget. Being based in San Diego, their great communication skills were invaluable, and we would absolutely plan future events at the Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh.

Consistently voted as one of the best and greenest event venues in Pittsburgh, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens provides a stunning backdrop for weddings. With flexible scheduling and a variety of spaces, we allow you to plan both your ceremony and reception in one location. Whether you imagine an intimate vow exchange in the Victorian glasshouse; a large ceremony and reception in our romantic, estate-style Outdoor Garden; or a cocktail hour atop a green roof; we can help bring your vision to life.

My husband and I recently booked the Broderie Room for a small intimate wedding and could not be happier that we did. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We worked with Caroline Walker as our Day-of-Coordinator. She was fantastic! She was very easy to communicate with, asked plenty of questions during our walk through meeting to ensure she was prepared for the big day, and made sure everything flowed seamlessly during the ceremony. The Broderie Room and the Conservatory itself is just phenomenal. The spring flowers were beyond gorgeous and I can't say enough great things about the beauty throughout the entire building. We had an amazing experience and so appreciate Phipp's and Caroline for making our special day as perfect as it was.

Grand. How else do describe a building whose story is woven into the history of Pittsburgh? A landmark transformed into the most striking special event facility in Western Pennsylvania. Whether it's the Grand Hall's rolling barrel vaults and arches, its massive supporting columns topped with gold-leafed Corinthian capitals, or the intricate, gold-plated stencil-work gracing the ceiling, the Pittsburgh's Grand Hall never fails to inspire awe in those who come through her doors.

We highly recommend Pittsburgh's Grand Hall for your wedding!!!!! Every single guest mentioned how beautiful the venue was, and how well-run and organized the venue handled our wedding. Not to mention The Priory hotel is attached which was convenient for our out of town guests! There was nothing more we could have asked for. The wedding packages were very inclusive, and everything ran like clockwork!

Amber and the staff were fantastic to work with! I DJ'd a wedding earlier in the year there and I was blown away of how we were treated. As a vendor we normally don't get the red carpet treatment but it sure felt that way when we arrived. Thanks again to everyone at the Hazlett Theater and can't wait to work with you again!

Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

4.5

Oakdale, PA
  • Up to 220 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Share your special day with us at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden! Get married in the Peirce Celebration Garden, featuring a stone wall abundant with romantic displays of seasonal blooms. Continue the celebration in the Davidson Event Center – our restored 1870’s barn with a modern, rustic charm. The climate-controlled Event Center features a wall of windows overlooking the natural woodland beauty of Western Pennsylvania. Rustic chandeliers provide a romantic ambiance to the space. A large adjoining plaza adds ample room for seating, mingling, and of course – dancing! Customize the space to make the day your own with the help of our exceptional vendor team.

PBG is an absolutely stunning location to get married at. The grounds are well kept, clean, and even individually catered to your group (the staff trimmed up greenery just to suit our wedding party!). It is also extremely convenient to have the ceremony and reception all in the same location. This was accessible to all of our guests and made transportation very straightforward. The PBG staff are ready to transport the bride/groom and photographers around the garden grounds for private photos, which made leaving and rejoining the party quick and easy. PBG does require you to individually hire catering and equipment, which allows your wedding day to be highly customizable but can also be overwhelming if you are doing this on your own (depends on how much work you want to put in!). They are also pretty flexible on different customizations you want. The only thing we wish went differently was the communication with the vendor - leading up to our wedding weekend they were quick to communicate via email or phone. However, on the rehearsal and the day of we felt unsure of what to expect. For example, when we arrived for the rehearsal our wedding group was left outside for 15-20 minutes without access to the venue and no information on why our rehearsal was starting late. When we tried to contact the team their phones were not picking up, and a staff member in the adjacent office for horticulture told us to our faces "we can't help you." The late start was because of vendor coordination - which we totally understand, but not knowing why we were waiting outside in the sun for that long was upsetting. Once we had access, we were not given any information on how the rehearsal would run, and it wasn't until at least 20 minutes late from our start time that the event managers interrupted our officiant to let us know that they would handle the logistics and cues. Once we had the direction it went smoothly, but similarly on the day of our wedding we were not told that the staff would assist with our entrances which led me (the bride) to panic about 15 minutes before our entrances until we were told that it would be handled. I feel that the PBG events team could easily smooth this out with an emailed outline of the rehearsal plan and what to expect on the day of, or to reach out with a day-of contact number.

Nestled on 17 picturesque acres in the Ruffs Dale/New Stanton region of Pennsylvania, Bella Terra Vineyards is a beautiful place to plan your upcoming wedding celebration. Featuring a serene three-acre lake, a scenic vineyard, and numerous towering 100-year-old trees, this gorgeous venue offers an idyllic setting for all your wedding day festivities.

We had our wedding ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner at this venue in the fall of 2024. It was beautiful and all our vendors really out did themselves. The venue was easy to work with and super accommodating of our ideas and plans. The caterer they work with was great as well and all my guests had a lovely time. We choose to stay at the house on-site and do the wine pouring ceremony, both of which I would recommend. No complaints and our pictures turned out amazing in the vineyards.

Sewickley Quarter

Sewickley, PA
  • Up to 116 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $23,000

Welcome. Beautifully situated and rich in history, Sewickley Quarter is an intimate courtyard wedding venue with lush vegetation, romantic ambiance, and quaint charm. Sewickley Quarter is a wedding reception venue situated in Sewickley, PA. This charming and intimate venue provides a beautiful setting for couples and guests to enjoy milestone occasions together. Ceremonies and receptions can easily be accommodated here, meaning that wedding parties can celebrate the entire day in a single location if desired. This woman-owned business provides an intimate and sophisticated property that would be more than worthy of one-of-a-kind weddings.

We got married at Sewickley Quarter on 9/16/23. It was the absolute most perfect day and I would highly recommend getting married there! Hannah is an amazing asset to the venue - she was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. She went to in person vendor meetings with me, gave recommendations on which vendors to book, helped me decide on food and decor choices when I couldn't decide on my own, and called the vendors to ensure proper timelines. I truly would have been lost without her and her team. We initially chose the venue when it was brand new and they have only continued to make more and more beautiful since then. Each space is decorated so beautifully and makes for the perfect background for all of your photos. I loved that we didnt have to rent plates/silverwear/glassware unlike other venues and that the tent was included in the price. The main ceremony/reception area felt like the perfect size - we were close to all of our guests and be together with everyone, but not too crowded. We also loved that it was nestled in the beautiful town of Sewickley which is such a cute destination for out of town guests. The food was fantastic. Our guests loved all of their food - from appetizers to the salad to the main course. They allow you to choose your own custom cocktails on tap which is such a fun and unique detail. The drinks taste and look absolutely amazing. The staff was polite and accommodating. They were very accommodating to dietary restrictions as well. All of my vendors raved about how easy it was to work with Hannah and how organized setup was on the wedding day. SQ also works with Day Of for wedding day coordination and our coordinator Katie was a so sweet and helpful and made the whole day go by smoothly. My husband and I felt so special and loved - truly they made us feel like celebrities. Overall, it was the best day of our lives thanks to Sewickley Quarter, all of their staff, and all of our amazing vendors. We cannot thank them enough.

Glen Eden Barn
Evans City, PA
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $6,000

Originally built in 1860 along Glen Eden Road, the barn, owned by the estate of Gene and Dee Graham, descendants of early settler of Cranberry Township, Matthew Graham, was slated to be sold as part of a real estate development and eventually torn down. The barn and farmhouse had been in the Graham family since its original construction, but was restored by Gene and Dee in the 1950’s as they started their own dairy farm, Brookvue Acres. For the next half century, the barn was the epicenter of daily life for the Graham family. All six children and numerous farm hands pitched in to help run the dairy. Resigned to spend more time with their grandchildren, the Grahams retired in 1998, happily closing that chapter of their life. Their legacy carries on in Graham Park, a donation of their farmlands to the community, in Cranberry Twp.

The Stables At Connoquenessing

5.0

Renfrew, PA
  • Up to 175 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

The Stables at Connoquenessing was originally built in 1928 as part of the Spang Estate. What was once a working barn home to Belgian draft horses and Guernsey cows, has now been renovated into a rustic, yet elegant two-story event facility. During the 1950s, peacocks, chickens, ducks, and geese could be found roaming the portion of the property that is now occupied by a covered patio, well-kept landscaping, and ample green space that creates a beautiful natural setting for all of your future events. The two-story barn was renovated and reopened as a rustic, yet elegant event facility in 2017. Complete with modern-day amenities, such as a fully-equipped catering kitchen, cozy bar and cocktail space, intimate downstairs dining area, covered patio, spacious second-floor banquet hall, this unique venue is the perfect setting for any gathering.

This was the easiest decision to make when planning our wedding. We originally planned on going through Allegheny County Parks and renting a shelter but we had issues as we wanted to rent Veteran’s Day Weekend and the Parks Department wasn’t open. So my husband found The Stables, and after 10 minutes of touring and talking to Jaclyn, we were sold. The space is gorgeous, very accommodating, and Jaclyn is now one of my favorite people. She made sure everything was perfect, even standing up for me when I was too afraid to ask for specific things with a vendor. She takes care of the event, the coordination day-of, and the people, which is rare. Looking back, I get the wedding-bell blues for the fact that my time at The Stables and with Jaclyn is over, but I will hold other events there in the future, without a doubt! Super close to a lot of shops and amenities, can’t go wrong. The Stables will have a special place in my heart for years to come.
